JS Modern Downtown Studios-Self Check-in

Communications with the team was great - I arrived early so was given directions to the Office so I could leave my bags until I could check in, and this was really helpful, thanks! The location of the apartment was superb! Easy to walk everywhere and only a short stroll to the river. Couldn't have asked for a better location. The room was absolutely perfect for my needs and would stay here again!

There was some construction work going on in the main part of the building, but this did not cause me any issues.

the location is excellent. bus #100E from the airport to the last stop and from there a 5 minute walk to the location. the owner sent photos and good directions both of the exterior and the interior of the location. the apartment itself was good, clean and had a kitchenette with a micro, kettle and other accessories. there wasn't really a window in the apartment. the AC was good and shower and bathroom were good as well. the building is under renovations which made it really spooky and dark at night and unpleasant to walk through.

the building is under renovations, the entrance is dark and the hallway was dark which made it spooky, and somewhat creepy to walk through. I wouldn't take my wife there, but it is great for teenagers or people with a lower budget who are looking for central location for a lower price

We got to stay in the unit D which was very well equipped- little kitchen, coffee machine, tea kettle, toaster, refrigerator, utensils.. The room was clean and modern looking furniture reflects exactly what you can see in the pictures. The place indeed is located in a walking distance from main attractions. The apartment unit does not face street so it was quite in evening hours. For the price and opportunities around, this place was really good and we would recommend it in general for a quick stay in Budapest.

Unlike other EU hostels, Budapest or perhaps this place required far too much of personal data upon registration for each of the guests. Windows' glass is obscure and in-yard, not much of natural daylight and not much fresh air. Currently (Mid-June 2026) staircase was undergoing some refurbishing works- please be careful. Even though pillows were comfortable, slightest turn during nigh-sleep were followed by a cascade of squeaking sounds of wooden parts of bed.
