Excellent rooms, fantastic bathroom, nice pool area
The beach area/hotel set-up isnt as nice as the resorts further down the Nusa Dua coast. Didn’t return after our first visit. The resort and Nusa Dua overall are also pretty boring with no good bars or restaurants in walking distance. Much better for families than young couples.

We had the best stay at the Sofitel Bali to finish off our first Bali trip. Exceptional service, we were always greeted so nicely and felt so welcome. We had requested to have an early check in and late check out which was both accommodated with ease. Really loved everything was communicated through WhatsApp (i.e. booking massages, check in) that felt personal and so organised. So easy to hold luggage and organise taxis / travel to and from the hotel as well in case we needed to go anywhere. The buffet breakfast was exceptional, so much to choose from and was so delicious. We also dined at Cucina which was amazing. We had booked the room with pool access which was the best. So luxurious and was the best feeling waking up to paradise. We also organised to have by the beach massages which was fantastic. Two stand outs for us were the departure lounge, the ability to quickly refresh ourselves with a shower and coffee before we had a late 10pm flight back to Sydney was great, and my partner had left a shirt in the room which I received a WhatsApp asking if it was ours and whether we would like it shipped. We were still around the hotel, so they were able to leave it at the concierge for me. So quick, and responsive and just excellent service. We will be back!!

Breakfast was overall good. Good service from all the staff, very welcoming
The pillow was a lil bit too soft to my liking. And unfortunately there were no other available harder pillow

The staff are amazing
The rooms are dated. Ours sampled damp every time we walked in. Not 5 star at all. The food was always cold at breakfast (English breakfast). There is a 30%+ surcharge on everything.
