Wellton Centrum Hotel & SPA

The position of the hotel is excellent. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very good. The staff were very helpful especially Alla at the reception desk who was a great help in enabling my wife to make calls on her mobile phone.

The staff at the hotel were very warm, professional and friendly. Check-in and check-out were both very quick and smooth. The location is excellent - right in the old town and close to many amenities like a shopping centre with a supermarket and restaurants. The room was quite comfortable and it had air con which was a saviour when it was so hot at night. Most areas in the hotel and room were very clean. I didn't get to avail of the spa but it looked great and there is a great array of treatments available. I think overall the hotel is really good value for money.

I feel like security could be slightly better - maybe key card entry into the hall on the ground floor where the rooms are. The rest of these are not major things that I "didn't like", but just some feedback: While the hotel and the room were clean overall, the mugs in the room had coffee stains on the outside (I completely understand this can happen in the dishwasher, but just something to look out for!). I was looking forward to a coffee in my room in the morning but the options were sachets which seemed to contain less than 20% coffee - the first 2 ingredients were coconut oil and a syrup. I guess that's to some people's taste but I was expecting something simple like Nescafé. The bathroom was nice but the shower could do with an upgrade.

Hotel was good central location and nice rooms.

The spa was closed for maintenance. The hotel was booked primarily because of the spa this was not indicated to us prior to arriving at the hotel. Upon arrival the reception told us that the spa was closed and we could use an alternative hotel 15 min walk away, this was disappointing as we were looking forward to using the hotel we were staying in amenities. If we had known we would’ve booked another hotel.
