The location of the hotel is great, right on the border of the art nouveau district. Inward facing rooms are very quiet. The lobby is really beautiful.
The hotel seens to have focused on some cosmetic improvements, but missed some of the most basic things required for a good stay.
The room was small, which isn't an issue by itself, but the ceiling was so slanted that you couldn't get onto one side of the bed without either crawling on it or banging your head against the slanted ceiling.
We were afraid to turn on the AC because the ventilation outlets were visibly full of dust and never cleaned. The bathroom floor was also brown in some places because of the lime scale that has never been properly removed.

The hotel had an amazing renovation, and it looks fantastic, the rooms are super comfortable and cozy.
The location is also perfect in Riga, close to the embassy sector, and towards the major attractions of the city centre.
The breakfast did not match my hope; however, it could have also been a fact since the stay was during low season. But, for 1 night stay, it totally fitted my needs.

I liked breakfast and how the bar was decorated
Room from the street side was very noisy, furnished like 2 star hotel at most. Bathroom had cobwebs.
