Apartments Jadran

there was no breakfast , location was fine

the shower was broken, you only had a hand shower the curtain did not cover the window, so you had early morning light in

We found our studio apartment was as described , it had a nice balcony with a view of the Bay of Kotor to the side . The owner was really helpful in all ways and easy to contact when needed . The apartment was equipped to a good standard . Appts Jadran are slightly off the centre of Herceg Novi but it is walkable and taxis were not expensive , it is well served by local buses , the no1 runs from 2 nearby stops and goes to Herceg Novi via Meljine and this takes about 10 minutes to the a stop near the bus station from where it is a 5 minute downhill walk to the Old Town . The number 2 goes from the same stops to the ferry at Kamenari , single fares on both are Euro 1.50 for a journey (whether 1 or 10 or how many stops !) . Coming back from town both the 1 and 2 run frequently from the main road below the Old Town to the same stops . The local area has some local shops , a bakery and a really nice little local bar on the main road where you can have a sensibly priced nightcap , there are more eating places on the promenade below , an easy walk down but a bit of a climb back up ..... this is true all over the lovely town of Herceg-Novi.

One little thing that would improve our studio apartment would be a bracket in the shower cubicle to hold the shower head and give a hands free shower , not a major problem but an easily made improvement .

Was easy to find and near the beach .

Curtains could be thicker due to street lights or shutters.

Cleanliness, location, staff at service and decent.

Few minor things, which can be easily overcomes, the bed is squeaking and the shower head - wall holder, is broken.
