everything was great!

the address was ambiguous for my taxi driver who dropped me off about 4 blocks away in the late evening.. a local dog walker helped me find the place.

size of the room was perfect for a solo traveller needing a rest from dormitory style accommodation. Hosts are magnificent at communicating via the Booking.com app. Excellent value for money location wise.

despite technically being located on the ground floor, to access a door that locks behind you when you leave the apartment, you have to go up and down two flights of stairs-and that’s not including the stairs to get to the house. only other thing is that the shower is very small if you’re a tall person

Close enough to the beach, the apartment has a small kitchen and balcony. The host is very friendly and helpful.

A lot of mold in the bathtub, needs very good cleaning. The balcony is not separated from the road.

Good enough for the night!

Property was located great, 5 min walk from old town and sea. Comfy blankets and big patio. No view from patio but spacious! Fast easy check in, booked 10 min before showing up.

Challenging to find, it’s tucked away up a long staircase. WiFi connection was very weak while we were there. The curtains kept falling down.

The room was covered in mold, and the bathroom had black mold, including the shower head. The musty odour was ever present so this is not suitable for human habitation. The owner needs to stop renting this apartment before this is fixed.

Could be better than it was

Spacious apartment, good location and free wifi

I had made the reservation for 4persons, but there had made beds only for two. I asked for bed linen for other two, but got only three sheets. I still cant understand how I was supposed to share three sheets with two persons. Also the towels were ridiculous small, not much bigger than tea towels. The bathroom was small and the shower cubicle was dirty and was not working properly, because the bathroom floor was nearly flooding after you had taken a shower.

Good

The location of the apartment is great, just minutes away from Old town Herceg Novi. Our host was very pleasant and helpful! However, we were accommodated in some sort of a basement unit (-2 floor), which we didn't know up until the moment we came inside the building (there weren't any information about this on Booking). The apartment was good, very spacious and nicely decorated, but the fact that it's below ground level made us feel not very comfortable (even though it had a rather spacious "terrace", but still - it was surrounded by high walls and other houses). All in all, it was good value for money, but it didn't really suit us perfectly.

Okay apartment, but not a great experience for us.

The facilities were decent enough for the price. The location was a bit of a walk from the old town, but very doable. It was pretty clean, despite some spiders. The kitchen area is not much and there is no counter, but there is a table that you can use to set things on. Definitely passable and some value for the price.

The biggest issue was that no one could be bothered to meet us for the keys. When we booked, we indicated our arrival time as between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. We arrived at 4:30 pm and waited outside for someone to meet us. We just arrived in Montenegro, so we didn't have a SIM card with data, so we fully relied on them to meet us - we couldn't communicate. Yet no one showed up. After an hour, I walked to the old town to try to find a wifi signal. Luckily, I did and I messaged them. They were in the flat right next to the apartment where we were waiting for them. To try to get in, I had to walk all the way to the old town, while they could have just looked out their window for us! What really bothers me is that they knew our arrival time, yet they clearly didn't care enough to even check for us. If you have a phone, then you might have more luck than we did, but who is to say that they will care about you either? This wasn't a good experience for us at all. Overall, the apartment is okay, but the piles of dirty laundry and garbage outside the apartment door wasn't too nice either.

unfriendly host, dirty room, and misguiding information.

Our stay was a disaster accomodation-wise. It all started the eve of our arrival and after confirmation of our booking, we left several messages for the hostess requesting elementary information (eg. key handing) via the website and WhatsApp and no answer. We had to call when we arrived (no local chip). The hostess sent us her son to get us the appartment that is in NO WAY accessibale even with GPS and precise geolocalization. The way there is completely dark with unchained dogs throughout the stairs. We had rented a car, and asked the son where we can park, he told us that there was a free parking (2-min away from the appartment) and parked there to only be surprised with a 10E ticket because parking there was free only on sundays. And cherry on top! the place was very dirty with dead and living insects as well spider webs everywhere. When we reported this to the hostess, she said quote "The price dectates quality" :) WE DO NOT RECOMMAND THIS PLACE

The apartments are very basic, located on the first floor. It was a bit damp, many power outlets were plain missing and there were wires, some lamps and lights were broken, there were no toilet papers. The apartments could really use some maintenance, better and more furniture.

Would not recommend this property to anyone. The apartment was very shabby. Bed linen was of very poor standard and bathroom towels were the same. The apartment needed upgrade. We complained to the host on the final day.
