Feels very homey immediately. Perfect for our little family. We rented Hibiscus 2BR villa. The path to the villa well lit & at night compared to other villas that can look quite spooky! We love our daily breakfast at the property. Prepared by our lovely butler Miss Eka. She was so kind to get us some fruits this morning too!

The sofa at the living room wasn’t comfortable at all. We wish they could have equipped a TV in the bedroom. Outside can be quite hot to watch TV during the day

Exceptional staff – very friendly, professional, and helpful. Excellent location in Seminyak, close to restaurants and shops. Spacious and quiet villa with a good layout. Clean, deep swimming pool. Daily high-quality housekeeping, fresh linen, and effective insect control. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Very peaceful stay overall.

Minor signs of wear in some areas (e.g. a slightly noisy fan). Air conditioning could feel a bit weak at first, was fixed quickly. TV without smart apps. These were minor and did not affect the overall comfort

We had an incredible stay at the Villa. Excellent staff, great location, the 3 bedroom Palm Villa is huge. The outdoor living and bathrooms were amazing. Having breakfast cooked for us in the Villa each morning was such a treat. Would highly recommend and would come back again.

There were leaks from the ceilings in the bathrooms, none of this was disclosed upfront as there were aware of this which is evident by the fact that they painted over the waterproofing. Even when being taken through the amenities, they did not mention this. It was only when we went to use the toilet that we discovered the leak as it leaked on us whilst using the toilet. At that point we checked the rest of the accommodation and found leaks in several other places. In some areas of the house there were parts of ceilings that had a bulge from water build up. The bottom room has a bad stench of mould and was leaking in the bathroom.

Their lack of transparency. Their lack of helpfulness and their expectation of us being happy with unsuitable alternatives. When complaining about this, they said they could accommodate us in another villa on the property but only for 7 nights of the 10 nights we already booked and paid for. The alternative accommodation did not suit us and had all outside showers. It was raining excessively at the time.

Best place in the world

We've traveled to many places around the world, but we've never experienced such a beautiful and warm, loving atmosphere. Words cannot express how stunning and spotless the villa is. The staff became like family to us during these five days—we already miss everyone! It would be hard to thank each person individually, as we received so many unforgettable experiences and so much love, but here are just a few highlights. Thank you to Adi for all the wonderful, life-changing journeys. To Jani and Mini, thank you for the amazing breakfasts, the great conversations, your constant care and attention, and for creating a warm, clean home around us every single day. We truly hope we’ll have the chance to return to Bali—and if we do, we’ll come only to you! We hope to see you again.

The breakfast was well prepared and on time as discussed the day before The chef (Wi) was pleasant and very Obliging, offering to do extras, given that we had two family members that are vegetarian. Management (Putu) helped keep our luggage after checkout, since we had a late departure to the airport, and further gave us access to shower and freshen up before leaving

Traffic can be a delaying factor in the travel plans, so please keep this in mind when setting out for the day

A Wonderful Family Stay at Serene Villas

Our family of three generations from Australia stayed for one week in the Garden Villa and had an absolutely amazing experience. Our butler, Eka, made us a delicious breakfast each morning and even went out of her way to pick up essential items and special Balinese treats for us — nothing was ever too much trouble. We often ordered lunch and dinner to the villa, and every meal was excellent. The villa itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with staff visiting daily to clean and attend to any small maintenance needs. The living areas were well-ventilated with ceiling fans, and the bedrooms were comfortably air-conditioned. On our final night, we booked the BBQ dinner, and the staff transformed the garden with beautiful Balinese decorations, setting up tables outdoors and cooking the meal right in front of us — it was such a memorable experience. We also arranged airport transfers and a day trip to Ubud through the villa, which were both seamless. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff, and their warmth and attention to detail made our holiday relaxing and truly unforgettable. We’ll definitely be staying at Serene Villas again on our next visit to Bali!

I liked the service of the Villa, they resolved my problem as quick as they could.

They need more fans down stairs in the villa, it was extremely hot during the day. They needed to check the water in the pool more often, my kids had bubble rashes after getting in the pool.

Lovely property & very well appointed with the “away from home comforts”. Exceptionally good staff who are very helpful & attentive. The pool was our favourite part & the villa is situated down a long driveway so it is nice and quiet. We were very comfortable here for our stay & the breakfast was also good too.

It is slightly dated, but that’s all ok with how clean & tidy it is. The bed would be a little bit firm for my comfort, but it was ok. We had some trouble getting the toilet to flush properly.

Great breakfast and service nothing was a problem staff very accommodating. We had meals both lunch and dinners in house really good selection both western and local cuisine on offer. Location was great, easy walk to restaurants shops, supermarket, etc.

The hard bed - think that this really needs replacing could feel the springs very uncomfortable. Our pool was growing quite a bit of algae around the water line on pool wall, never saw anyone come in and clean it in the 8 days we were there, however the water clarity was all good.

We loved the location, staff and their attentiveness. We enjoyed the option of in house dining for breakfast and all other meals and the wide selection offered. Along with the cocktails for the happy hour. The breakfast cooked in your own villa was lovely. Our butler Surya was brilliant. He never missed any attention to detail from refilling shower gel, to fresh pool towels if we was out for the day, to replacing mosquito spray (which was also complimentary ) We particularly loved the turn down service too having bedroom blinds put down and the mosquito coils lit ready for the evening. Our garden was well maintained and immaculate,ALL the staff were so friendly, happy and discret. The villa was situated in a perfect location walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and bars but not so close that you any noise at night.

The kitchen needed a fan or ideally AC and was a little tired. The sofas could also do with upgrading as they dipped a little when sat on.

WONDERFUL. Everything about the villa exceeded our expections.

We were met at reception and taken to our villa. Communication with Putu was easy via WhatsApp, we kept him updated on our arrival time. Our butler, Wi, was an absolute delight, couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was beautiful, plentiful and with lots of variety. We ordered dinner on the 1st night from the inhouse Chef, and the food was fantastic, and very well priced. They also organised transport for us to go to our next Villa, in their confortable van.

Serene and warm

Walking up to the reception while listening to the gentle bamboo leave rustling alongside was indeed serene. Once there, we were greeted by such warmth and hospitality while we were lead to our villa. The villa is spacious with ensuite aircon rooms. Our Butler Surya was excellent, cooks well and made sure we were well looked after. I am still missing the breakfast he prepared! The villa is cleaned daily and whatever needed is just a call away. There are many good restaurants and massage just 10 minutes by walk or by Grab if further. Thank you to the team!

Having an open space, mosquitoes and insects are your alien friend. A hanger for hand tower is recommended so it is nicely hung up…I believe there are past recommendations as well.. so to the management, will you take this up? The living area can be brighter… maybe led strips along the ceiling by the tv and kitchen entrance helps.
