The location!.. was steps distance from the train station entrance!!! It was great because it was raining last day of our stay. The breakfast was delicious!
The application online did not allows us to include our sons, so only two adults per room, which it did not make sense because I booked a double room. So I booked it for two, the I have to pay at the check in my two teenagers and pay for their breakfast as well. It would be easy if the system allows it included them at the beginning.

Room was spacious, clean and i had a special request which they did 😊. Onsen bath was perfect with another sleeping area. Getting welcome drinks everyday is amazing. On the checkout we tried the massage chair that was good as well.
We went around 11am they didnt accommodate us instead said 2pm. I understand the policy but if the room were free you can give early checkin

The hotel was just next to a subway which was one stop from the main Kyoto station or a 8-10 minute walk
The bedroom was old fashioned, the air conditioning was far too complicated and we couldn’t get it to work, the laundrette machines were old and yet it was quite an expensive hotel
