We had a very warm welcome from Alan. Home baked goodies in the room and homemade preserves and yoghurt for breakfast.

A very comfortable and relaxing place with lovely surroundings.

Breakfast really good. A good variety of cooked breakfast and cereal and fresh fruit options. Lovely orchard like setting. We really felt welcome and the hosts were very sociable.

Nothing really. The Freeview tv programmes were good enough. No microwave or crockery.

Very relaxing! A home away from home!

Our hosts Alan and Linley were wonderful - so welcoming, kind and thoughtful without being intrusive. Our room was comfortable and well equipped and our breakfast was delicious. The location suited us very well. Set in magnificent gardens, it was beautiful, tranquil and within walking distance to one of our desired destinations, the Warkworth historical music. The town centre was a short drive. Thank you Alan and Linley for a lovely stay!

Comfortable, quiet, lovely hosts.

Breakfast was lovely. Linley and Alan were very attentive, and had a good system worked out for breakfast. Alan is full of information about the area, and history in particular. It is a beautiful, quiet, property.

I did not need fresh towels for the two nights.

Alan and Linley made our stay in Warkworth a most pleasant experience. The room was excellent and well appointed. Alan was very helpful with local knowledge and advice and Linley`s cooked breakfast was super.

We hugely enjoyed our stay at Warkworth Country House and would highly recommend staying there.

We were made welcome straightaway and the room was large and spacious. We felt that Alan and his wife had done everything to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. And the breakfast was great.

Alan and Lynley were exceptional hosts. Loved the home baking and all the little touches of homeliness. Breakfast was awesome and we were welcomed into their home. Garden was amazing with birdlife which gave us a show in the trees right outside our door

Very well equipped, comfortable unit. Couldn't think of anything it lacked. Just a very short drive into the town centre of Warkworth. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Good cooked breakfast was appreciated. Enjoyed the Tui's and Wood pigeons in the trees outside our room. We will return

Great place to stay for a few nights. Brekkie a highlight.

Breakfast was great, fresh OJ and cooked bacon, eggs, tomatoes and more. Great all round. Plus freshly baked goodies in the room each day.

Nothing really. If anything, we enjoyed Alan's company and discussions on the first day, particular as it was about topics which we raised, but it would have been preferable if there was less discussion at the second breakfast. These discussions were started by Alan and the topics were his.

Alan & Linley have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was lovely and we were welcomed with home made slice and biscuits left for us in our room. Alan provided us with local information about places to eat. The breakfast was exceptional and delicious - including homemade bread, Youghurt and home grown fruits.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

We absolutely loved staying here. The bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet. Breakfast was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Only regret was not staying longer.
