This comfortable B&B has a separate entrance, bedroom with queensize bed, lounge/dining/TV room, and bathroom .
Enjoy the self service continental breakfast provided including juice,cereals toast,spreads,yoghurt and fresh fruit.
While in the area sample some of it's many attractions.
Coastal walks, surfing, diving, fishing, kayaking all within 5 minutes walk. Short drive to Goat Island Marine Reserve and Visitor Discovery Centre, Sawmill Cafe and Brewery for coffee, meals and gigs,Pakari ,Tawharanui Regional Park, Omaha beach and Kawau Bay.
Matakana weekend markets are a popular attraction with fresh local produce and crafts, with numerous boutique shops and gourmet food outlets and cinema.

Helen and Geoff were great! I had accidentally booked for a day before our arrival, and didn’t realize it until we landed in Auckland. They were totally cool, and we just shifted to the next night (very grateful it was available). The place is beautiful, and the view … outstanding!! The bird chorus in the morning was music to our ears, and the gardens right outside our door are glorious! There are so many beautiful places to see nearby, and they had a super helpful map of the local area, with extra notations about neat things to do.There place is a wonderful getaway from Auckland, and the perfect landing place for our first night in New Zealand, a perfect jumping off point for heading up to the Northland.highly recommend!!

My sister and I booked this bnb as we were attending a musical event in Whangateau. Unfortunately my sister’s car had battery problems when we were ready to leave for the event so Helen not only took us down there but offered to pick us up later (though we managed to hitch a ride back, just as well as it was round11 p.m.!)Property is beautifully quiet and well equipped though water restrictions meant we were dissuaded from taking a bath. As sister is also on tank water we understood the reason. Plenty of healthy continental breakfast ingredients provided.We both certainly recommend this lovely bnb, and Helen and Geoff’s hospitality. They went the extra mile.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was so well set up and Helen and Geoff were very welcoming. The setting and view are lovely. We enjoyed the Leigh walkway at the bottom of the street. We wold definitely stay here again!

I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. The owners are welcoming and the unit is very private with spectacular water views. We extended our stay to 3 nights and didn’t want to leave. It is in a quiet location and close to lots of wonderful local walks. There is lots to explore in the area and the local cafe and bar provide excellent food. Thank you Helen and Geoff for sharing your slice of paradise!

Lovely modern and well finished B&B. Everything was catered for and loved the extra little touches made including the little glass milk and condiment bottles and jars. The place was exceptional, the view was awesome. . Easy to get to , had no worries or problems. We will use again sometime. Very happy.

We loved our stay at Daniel's Reef! The view is incredible and great, easy walk down to multiple bays. A short drive to snorkelling hot spot of Goat Island. Wonderful hosts who were welconing and helpful during our stay but the space also allowed privacy and quiet. Great breakfast provided, and we appreciated access to BBQ to be able to cook our dinner. Will definitely be back to stay! Thanks Helen and Geoff for having us!

Beautifully appointed and maintained large suite. Nice to have a bathroom that two people could enter. Really enjoy our stay and talking with hosts. Unfortunately weather did not corporate to be able to snorkel at goat island. Still stormy and water had limited visibility. Hosts helped with other activity suggestions with was great!

Our first night in New Zealand. The property was clean and spacious and the breakfast supplied was very welcome. The area had a power outage overnight that effected the water supply but this was rectified before we left and we were able to shower
