Agriturismo Le Vigne

La vicinanza al centro di Fermo e a Porto San Giorgio. La camera era spaziosa con un letto matrimoniale, un letto a castello ed un altro letto; un armadio bianco stile classico; due comodini ed un ripiano. Un piccolo frigorifero è stato utile per mettere due bottiglie grandi. TV. La parete era verde ed il soffitto in legno. Il bagno aveva una porta antipanico larga per handicap. Tanto verde e giochi per bambini ed un pony. In fondo galline ed oche e piante di fichi. Ampio parcheggio interno. Si può fare colazione, pranzo e cena.

Le scale per accedere alla camera senza ascensore. Una festa fino alle 24:00.

Rita e suo marito sono davvero ospitali. La struttura è pulita, comoda e funzionale. E si mangia pure molto bene.

Other than the view from the balcony, there was not much to like about the "bait and switch" off-site old apartment we were forced to take or lose our non-refundable payment. We reserved Agriturismo Le Vigne because it had an on-site restaurant for dinner, which we needed after a long drive, as well as breakfast, and because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, they overbooked the night we reserved but took our non-refundable booking anyway. They called to tell us they had no rooms available but would put us up in an apartment "5 minutes away" which actually meant 10 more minutes of driving winding steep roads and finding parking in the street. They would not cancel our reservation from their end even though they had overbooked the B&B, which would have refunded our payment, and we could not cancel it from our end. The apartment is spacious with lovely views from the balcony but we had to park on the street, lug all of our luggage upstairs, doggie-proof the balcony because it had big gaps under the railing that our little dog could fall through, and stay in a very old apartment with worn out furniture that had not been cleaned in some time and needs repairs and updating. The wifi did not work in the apartment and, when I contacted the B&B for the apartment's wifi password, they just told me it was the same as for the B&B. We were too exhausted to go back down to the B&B for dinner but had luckily brought some snacks with us. The young lady who spoke English and gave us the apartment key at the B&B also told us we would have to pay for breakfast since it was not included with our booking. The coffee maker at the apartment did not work so we packed up and went to the B&B. The owner made us a couple of excellent cappuccini and gave us paper plates and a knife so we could cut slices of the dry pound cake. I went to the bathroom in the restaurant and the toilet seat was broken.

This place is a disaster. I'm not sure where the good reviews came from. Maybe they're very old.
