Fukeikan 風景館

旬の野菜をふんだんに使った料理が美味しかった。 ふきの塔、タラの芽、地域の野菜を使った天ぷらが最高でした。 量と種類が多かったのですがどれも美味しく完食しました。 貸切風呂が最高でした。 ちょっと寒かったけどこれが又最高でした。 一人旅にも最高です😃 秋の紅葉、冬の雪景色、春の新緑の季節には最高の宿です。

経過年数をが経っていてちょっと古臭いですが、料理とお風呂でカバーしています。 人手不足を解消されたら良い旅館として親しまれると思います。

Location is easy to reach by a daily shuttle bus service (provided by the ryokan) or you can drive up by a car. Be careful during winters as it gets dark pretty quickly and the roads might have snow deposited! They were awesome to accommodate my vegetarian meal request and I am happy to report it did not disappoint compared to it's meat counter part!

Property was beautiful, along a snowy riverside. Very traditional feel. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff were so kind and accommodating. The private onsen was lovely- good to note that you get one 40 minute visit to one of the private onsens a day, but if there are more slots available and everyone’s had their turn, you can request after dinner to visit a second time. We had both dinner and breakfast at the inn, which was absolutely amazing. They were also able to accommodate dietary restrictions (pescatarian). Dinner was adventurous for us Americans which was super fun. We stayed here as we wanted a more traditional Japanese stay and I definitely feel like we achieved that here!

Not the fault of the property— but good to note that the inn is a bit off the beaten path and isolated from stuff to do. The town of Obuse is a little sleepy, and when we visited in February we found most shops in the area closed on a Saturday. There’s a ski resort 20 minutes away which we would have loved to check out. Overall, would recommend getting a car while staying here if you’re here for more than one night. A taxi from Obuse station to the inn was about ¥5000.

泉質は、最高 硫黄の匂いも感じない程度で 建物は相当古いのに、嫌な匂いが全く無い ただ一つだけ 女性の脱衣場の匂いが少しだけ 腋臭があります。 多分泉質特有の匂いなのですしようけと 何か対処方法があると思います。 部屋も古いけど、配管の匂いは ありません。素晴らしい
