Perfect place to stay in this lovely market town

A very comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped accommodation with beautiful views in a quiet location but just down a hill off the main square in Leyburn. Parking for two cars is an added bonus. A superb welcome pack was provided and a jug of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Very welcoming and friendly hosts

Perfect getaway spot

Beautiful house with a lovely view over the North Yorkshire countryside. Very clean and comfortable and great for my dog to have the freedom of the full house (unlike some places where they are restricted to downstairs). Just a short walk and you are in town with lots of independent shops, pubs and a good sized and well stocked Coop.

There was nothing I didn't like about this place. However, I would say if you have mobility problems, you may struggle with the few steps up to the house. The garden was smaller than I expected from the photos but fine for what we needed.

Had a lovely relaxing sunny easter weekend walking around the pretty valley.

The view from the windows was great and it was convenient for town centre shops and pubs in the pretty town market place Convenience for gentle walking around the valley and along the 'edges'

Self catering accommodation. Excellent modern facilities. Provision of Fresh, milk, chocolates etc and beverage choices as well as toiletries was a particularly nice touch.

Oaklodge is a very special b and b, warm friendly caring hosts. The room was very well prepared and reflected the careful attention to every detail. Breakfasts are excellent, the views from the b and b are beautiful.

Friendly and helpful host

Excellent bed and breakfast. Wouldn't look any further if the Oaklodge is available. The owner extremely helpful with my gluten free breakfast. Even with short notice. Best we have been in anywhere not just in Leyburn . Cannot recommend it enough

Best b&b ever stayed in

superbly located just off Leyburn town Square. Great views from anywhere on the property including the small breakfast room. We stayed in Ash room which also benefited from a quaint conservatory and balcony overlooking the well maintained garden with seating there also, from where to take in the amazing views! Breakfast was served promptly and tasted good accompanied by a friendly service. Wish we'd have stayed for longer!

Gorgeous location, attention to detail, fantastic hosts

Absolutely gorgeous little B&B in a stunning location. The attention to detail and the decor of the rooms was amazing and the whole place was absolutely spotless. This was the last stop on a 9 day trip with my boyfriend and Oaklodge unexpectedly became one of our favourite stops of the trip. Lynne was one of the friendliest and kindest hosts we have experienced and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us enjoy our stay even for just one night. Breakfast was also absolutely lovely. A bonus were all the great pubs and places to eat nearby (we had fantastic pizzas at The Three Horseshoes in Wensley). Wish we could have stayed longer!
