Fantastic location for exploring the South Downs, Charleston, Monk’s House and Lewes. A cheap and cheerful place to stay, with a decent breakfast, good showers and free walking maps
The traffic outside was very loud from our room, and there was also a noticeable damp smell. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room, and as there was no phone signal in the area on my network (3), this meant having to go to the public areas to organise plans. It wasn’t the worst thing in the world, but it was a mild inconvenience during our stay.

Beautiful location in South Downs. Great value for money. Cafe on site selling hot and cold meals.
Noise from busy A26 at back of some of bedrooms/dorms during day.
