Another wonderful stay at Montboulard, where Emma’s warm welcome always makes us feel right at home. The garden is starting to look beautiful this spring, and we already look forward to our next visit.

The location was good for walking and a 2 night stop on a road trip. Shops very close by. The cottage we had was very well equiped, particularly the kitchen. Very friendly and helpful host. The whole building and setting is beautiful.
The cottage we had was not of a high standard of cleanliness. There was also considerable humidity/mold on the bathroom ceiling and floor/wall by the shower cubicle, probably accumulated because it was impossible to open the high window so no ventilation. The bedroom also smelt damp. In my opinion this particular cottage needs the damp problem resolving and thorough cleaning and then it would be excellent accomodation for either a short or long stay.
