Green Hill Boutique Hotel

What a treasure! The few days following M7.7 shake, we were homeless and delayed and found Green Hills through our booking agent. Coffee downstairs was exceptional, room was glorious (and I loved hearing the harbour sounds!), easy walk to some of the best eateries we've found in Indo, spider saviours and all (ok, I'm a wuss!). Even the stone steps were good exercise and with our earth still shaking, reassuring to not have tonnes of concrete above us and to be elevated.

Incredibly helpful staff - they organised taxi transfers for us to and from the airport, stored our bags while we were on a boat trip and were very friendly and helpful despite some major local issues. The rooms are large, clean and have beautiful views. The location is right in the middle of town, but the rooms felt private and tucked away nicely.

My favourite hotel so far in Indonesia given the price point. The room was large, clean and well appointed. There was an area out the front of the room that I could dry my clothes. There is a shared dining area where you can watch the beautiful sunset. Great location in town with plenty of things to do and they'll store your bags for you if you ask.

Pretty steep hill but the staff carried my bag up. Otherwise no complaints, not even about the noise, it was fine.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Air con is very strong and beds comfortable.

The mosque prayers at 4 to 5 am could be heard very loudly kept us awake.
