It was a warm, comfortable and cosy apartment with everything you need in it for a great holiday.

It was self-catering so we got our own breakfast. The location was very good, really close to the centre of the town.

The smell of cigarettes in the kitchen. The water changes from very hot to very cold, making it impossible to take a shower.

Great stop over.

It was very clean and comfortable. Room for the five adults. The bed settee was made up which was great. plenty of cutlery and glasses etc for everyone. Nice shower.

With sofa bed made up there was nowhere to sit. (we had been travelling since 2am so it was fine to go to bed early - but other large groups might struggle to relax in the evening)

Amazing apartment! We stayed for one night with two dogs. The owner was super nice even though we were late for arrival. Very clean and nicely equipped flat. Recommend 11/10

Nice apartment in great location

The location is great. Walking distance to the main ski lift, train station and center of the village. The apartment itself was fine and did the trick for our family of 5. The owner was friendly and immediately warned a group of young guys who were loud during the night.

Superb experience, wide range of skiing, plenty of things to do in the evenings, great accomodation

The welcome from the owner's sister, who was very helpful and suggested some apres ski ideas ,was much appreciated - the swimming pool and jacuzzi at the sports centre was superb. The apartment was excellent, with a good kitchen and dining area, and a spacious lounge. Bedrooms were of a good size and we could have fitted our family into the apartment very easily - next year? The whole apartment was very clean and there was plenty of storage available. The toilet and shower area was spacious and very clean and tidy. We had our own patio, which my wife enjoyed very much - a keen reader! The ski-hire shop was just opposite and were very professional, living up to their reputation - I will definitely use them again.

Nice time, a lot of skiing, fantastic views and Austrian food.

Town centre within 10-15 minutes walk. For those loving beer HuberBräu Turmstüberl tower is a must go place. Several good restaurants around the Hauptplatz. If you buy "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena" skipass - I would recommend to visit Waidring Steinplatte (approx 25 km from St. Johann) because of beautifull views & nice pists.

Enjoyable Weekend in the Centre of St. Johann

Lovely host, great place, 2 minute walk from centre. Cable car station just round the corner. Apartment had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing weekend.

Everything was great. The only improvement suggestion would be to have "black out" curtains or a blind in the master bedroom to prevent car headlights shining into the room.

Fijne plek, mooie schone ruimte!

De ruimte in de kamer was prachtig. Het was super schoon en het ontvangst erg vriendelijk. Wij verbleven hier maar 1 nacht als doorreis. Maar het zou een prima appartement zijn om een week in de winter te verblijven. Parkeerplaats voor de deur.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Gastgeber supernett. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir wurden von unseren Gastgebern zur Schlüsselübergabe sehr nett empfangen. Das Appartement war sehr groß und absolut sauber und modern eingerichtet. Die Bilder haben nicht gelogen. Am Abreisetag hatten wir Probleme mit unserem PKW. Zur Lösung wurden wir dabei von unseren Gastgebern sehr freundlich unterstützt. Vielen Dank für diesen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf jedem Fall allen Interessenten.

Schönes, sehr gut gelegenes Apartment. Die Besitzerin und das Personal sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Geräumiger Balkon mit Ausblick. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden! Kommen gerne wieder!

En dejlig lejlighed med balkon til 2 sider, der manglede intet. Værtinde meget venlig og tiltede.

Beliggenheden var optimal, tæt på by, handlemulighed, spisesteder samt udflugtsmuligheder, samt udsigt til bjergene fra ens egen balkon.

Ikke noget at bemærke. Der var ikke noget som vi ikke kunne lide.

Alles war sehr gut organisiert und strukturiert (z.B. Versorgung mit Informationen vor der Anreise, Parkordnung vor dem Haus); Sauberkeit; Sehr gute Lage; Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Wir haben die Urlaubstage in St. Johann mit Wandern/Bergsteigen verbracht und wir waren mit dieser Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen gerne wieder, auch für längeren Urlaub.

Gezellig dorp, centrale locatie, geen prettig appartement.

De locatie, het appartement ligt centraal in het dorp.

De eigenaresse was niet gastvrij en vriendelijk. Per mail contact gehad met haar zoon en die bood aan ons van het station te halen, erg aardig uiteraard. Bij het ophalen nauwelijks een vriendelijk woord, we werden binnen gelaten in het donkere appartement en weg was ze weer met de opdracht een formulier in te vullen. De gastenkaarten zouden we ook pas later krijgen. 's avonds het formulier ingeleverd en nogmaals om de gastenkaarten gevraagd. Met een smoes over veel werk om in te vullen wilde ze me weer wegsturen tot de volgende dag. Daar niet mee akkoord gegaan en ze vervolgens snel gekregen. Voor toeristenbelasting was teveel berekend, pas toen ik om de rekening vroeg, na twee dagen, kreeg ik mijn geld terug. Het appartement zelf is oké, maar niet meer dan dat. Het ligt op een donkere hoek beneden, ingesloten tussen gebouwen, zonder uitzicht en tegenover de ingang staan de afvalbakken en dat ruik je. De slaapkamer ligt aan de kant waar voor je raam de auto's geparkeerd staan. Toen ik op de laatste dag vroeg of wij de bagage wellicht overdag nog daar konden laten werd er eerst moeilijk gedaan en uiteindelijk was het akkoord ze in het drooghok achter te laten. Dat is eerlijk gezegd het enige vriendelijke wat deze eigenaresse heeft gedaan. Ze wil vooral met zo weinig mogelijk inspanning zoveel mogelijk verdienen. Voor schoonmaakkosten betaal je € 70,-, dat zie je echt niet terug in het appartement, de bank is niet fris.

Ein schöner Abschluss nach unserer Hüttentour im wilden Kaiser!

Das Appartment ist sehr hübsch und hat uns gut gefallen, die Gastgeberin war hilfsbereit und hat auch zu später Stunde noch mit persönlichen Lebensmitteln ausgeholfen und uns somit das Abendessen gerettet. Auf pünktliche Abreise wird großen Wert gelegt und der Umgang fühlte sich streng, aber freundlich an 😉

Super ubytování

Pobyt červenec 2025 na týden.Kousek od centra, lanovky, obchodů a koupaliště. Apartmán byl čistý, velký a plně vybavený, včetně myčky na nádobí. Dostali jsme guest card kde je mnoho benefitů (zdarma busy a vlaky po regionu, denni vstup do bazenu na 3 hodiny, byli jsme tam každý den po výletech, děti byly nadšené z tobogánů. A pokud strávíte alespoň 2 noci v St. Johann tak je na kartě i jednou lanovka zdarma nahoru i dolů!). Parkoviště před penzionem. Tiché místo.

V koupelně nebyl šampón atd. Ale měli jsme svoje. Mýdlo u umyvadla bylo. Jinak nic

Das Appartment war gut ausgestattet. Vom Balkon kann man auf den Wilden Kaiser sehen. Wir kamen spät abends an, das Haus und das Zimmer waren nach Rücksprache mit dem Personal offen. Alles war bestens und unkompliziert. Parkplatz war direkt vorm Haus. Unser Hund war auch kein Problem, allerdings war er nicht im Preis von Booking enthalten.

Dejligt og roligt ophold.

Rolige omgivelser, hyggeligt, god beliggenhed.

De er ikke helt med på engelsk. Men de prøvede og gjorde hvad de kunne for at vi kunne forstå hinanden. Ikke et stort problem for mig. Men hvis man slet ikke kan Tysk, skal man lige være forberedt på lidt tegne sprog 😊
