We left with a strange feeling, It was a "Chateau" but felt like a Motell.

Quiet location with friendly staff.

Reception closed (but the receptionist came after some time and said that the door was very hard to open, she wanted to show us and was locked out too :-). But she took us to our room saying that the keys are in the room, but actually the room was closed too, we just had to wait a little for her to get the key. The restaurant was closed and we had expected dinner (but we were served an cold dish after asking). The place felt a bit "deserted" as a chateau forgotten by it's owners. We did not like the interior decorating style, a very low bed, modern strong colors. We did not have breakfast.

Nice place but close to being shut!

A lovely setting, friendly staff and very keen.

The restaurant was closed which was not explained on their website. Being so far out of town, this meant driving out each evening. Breakfasts were cold and offered little variation. The reception was only manned until 7pm which meant the bar was closed too. Very disappointing.

Quiet private surroundings.

Despite staying a mid-week night, we were told that there was absolutely no room in the restaurant. This meant resorting to a 15 minute drive into town to find an alternative restaurant and, obviously, no alcohol. It had been made clear, in a selection of languages, that restaurant pre-booking was needed - even for residents! No rooms in the main Chateau - all are pretty basic and in converted stables with a single window on one side. Breakfast poor and overpriced.
