Very poor experience, wouldn't recommend

It's in the middle of nowhere so nothing is nearby you can't even get a taxi. Also no one seems to work on reception as when we checked in our room keys were just left on the desk and a note saying hotel is closed. Other guests there had been locked out numerous times and there was no one to help, lucky some French guests staying in the hotel helped by calling an emergency line and even then it took a while to figure out we needed a master key to unlock the rooms. Staff there do not understand English even using Google translate on one day we did see a reception member. They have a bar but again that was closed throughout the duration of my stay we didn't see anyone working there. There were no amenities at all like a basic kettle or even iron. One of our rooms also had a broken cupboard meaning there was no mirror in the room. Overall, we had an awful stay and wouldn't book back here again. The listing on booking.com was very misleading and next time would be good to know that once you get there you can't go anywhere else due to no transport, as you can't book a taxi and there's no one in reception to help you either. And nothing is walking distance from there.

Pleasant

The rooms and restaurant seemed pleasant enough

On bikes one had to negotiate a busy road from the loire a velo to the out of town hotel. There is a cycleway we discovered later so maybe hotel should advertise it. When we arrived in early evening the place looked abandoned & somewhat unkempt with nobody around and no cars in car park. Inside was clean enough. Few more people turned up for breakfast which was reassuring. Think the place externally needs smartening up.

Petit déjeuner très varié : il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le personnel est très sympathique et dynamique. Le dîner est top : personnellement je recommande les Saint Jacques :-) Hôtel très bien situé .

Grosse déception et soirée gâchée par tous ces non-dits

Emplacement bien. Repas du soir et petit dejeuner bien. Petit déjeuner offert par la direction car gros problème sur la chambre.

On a voulu me faire prendre un lit en 140 pour un 160 alors que nous avions réservé un très grand lit qui n'existe pas dans l'hôtel. O nne m'a pas dit à la réservation que la seule chambre avec douche était une PMR avec une salle de douche de minable.

Nous avons diné, repas excellent un léger bemol pas de menu le vendredi, tout est à la carte Petit dejeuner copieux , situé dans la salle du restaurant donc un vrai espace pour le prendre

le manque de chauffage, mais présence d'une couette supplémentaire dans le placard
