Had everything you needed.

Nothing really

Love this place it has fresh air you can open the window, clean, friendly staff and in the middle of the CBD so close to Fortitude Valley train station & the Tivoli and Fortitude Music Hall

A hairdryer would be nice

It's not the Hilton. It's a backpackers' style accomodation. I did have my own room with bathroom. It was a very small room. But was clean. It does have a balcony. There is a kettle in the room, but no toaster. they do have a communal kitchen where you can cook your own food. They do have an 8pm "no noise" policy, which while I was there, the guests adhered to. My shower base was stainless steel, so it was clean, but a bit concerning on the slippage factor.

When I first walked in, there was a strong musty smell and body odur. But that was only at the entrance and reception area. It's a historic building of sorts. It's multi leveled so if you got heavy luggage you might struggle getting them up, or down, depends where your room is located. No bedside table to have the phone sit to charge overnight. I had to use the chair. And I recommend bringing a power extension lead if you want to have your phone next to your bed. No bedside lamp. The light switch was at the door. The tiled corridor floor meant that noise was prominent. The TV was not properly mounted to the wall. It did not stay at angle the could be viewed in bed. I had to use the spare roll of toilet paper to prop it at the right angle.
