We booked a Superior one bed room apartment in this lovely historical building. Gorgeous old world charm in common areas including lifts. Apartment clean with all amenities you could need, 2 TVs, oven/microwave, clothes washer and dryer. Adjustable air conditioning/heating. Mini milks but no tea/coffee … easy to purchase at Woolworths 1 block down (3min walk). No hotel reception on site Friday-Sunday or after hours any day but contactable and responsive to email/phone. Very helpful building manager, Gavin, and kindly allowed us a late checkout. Great location near ANZAC square - easy short walk (8-10min) to Queen St Mall and just a bit longer (30-35min) to walk over to Southbank. 25-30min Uber ride from Brisbane Airport (approx $42 AUD).

I liked the hotel, but it is unstaffed. Getting in the door was an annoying process (was not late hours), but mostly my comment is, if the hotel is not staffed, you need to have an iron and board in the room. Business travellers need to iron shirts, and there was no way to get an iron.

Location was great for my trip, close to food etc Staff very helpful & friendly. Great place!!

It is a lovely old building in a great location. The apartment we stayed in however has clearly not been updated since the apartments were created in 1997, although the furniture has a definite 80s vibe.
The bed was comfy and bathroom functional.
It could be updated pretty inexpensively, as is it feels “down at heel”.
