Very nice

Charming Stay with a Youthful Vibe We’re an older couple and stayed at this youth hostel during our cycling trip in Germany. We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was lively and friendly – lots of young travelers, but we never felt out of place. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Lot’s of fresh fruit. A big plus for us: our bicycles were kept safe in a locked storage area, giving us peace of mind. The hostel is in a fantastic location on the lake with a beautiful terrace and lake view from the breakfast room. All in all, a great experience – youthful energy with solid comfort. Don’t let the “youth” label deter you!

We had to pay an extra fee because we were older than 27 years.

it is not a dislike but be aware it is a youth hostel! you should be a member of the German youth hostels to stay. also as it is a youth hostel it is full of boisterous kids! I am ok with that but quiet it isn’t

Es lohnt sich inzwischen in einer Jugendherberge zu übernachten!

Da war ein exzellentes Frühstück! In einer Jugendherberge hätte ich das nicht erwartet! Die Lage am See ist sehr schön! Leider habe ich das erst am nächsten Morgen feststellen können, weil ich bei den Wetterverhältnissen nicht mehr rausgegangen bin. Schüler des Musikkurses aus dem Gymnasium von Schwerin waren dort und ich habe Ihre Proben genossen!

Sehr schöne Jugendherberge in phantastischer Lage direkt am See. Gute Ausstattung, zweckmäßige Zimmer, sehr nettes Personal.

Der Preis ist für eine Jugendherberge - auch für Senior - Mitglieder - sehr hoch, angesichts des Standards aber nicht unberechtigt.

Alles sehr sauber, Personal freundlich, Lage erstklassig, Frühstück üppig und gesund.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist die Parksituation. Durch Dauerbeleger. Aber der Markt ist nicht weit weg. Und 5€ für den Tag extrem preisgünstig.

Sehr gute Lage und ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Es gibt wohl nur wenige Jugendherbergen, die in einer so außergewöhnlich liegen. Ratzeburg ist ein Schwimmer-, Segler-und Ruderparadies. Die Jugendherberge liegt zudem direkt auf der Insel, der Dom ist fußläufig erreichbar.

zeer bijna tegen het onbeschofte aan te woord gestaan ik had voor 53 via booking.com gereserveerd moest 71 euro betalen en nog kaart 2 euro kopen ik pr rustig uit te leggen dat ik voor 53 euro geboekt hebt en geen ervaring met jeugd herberg hij zei dat hij de voorwarden gemaild had ik heb gezegd dat ik die niet gelezen hebt en later zag ik ook nog in duits ik vroeg nogmaals of ik met het reserveringsbedrag van 53 euro kon blijven werd zeer onvriendelijk dus ben weggegaan vind dat julie deze uit de booking.com moetenm gooien prijzen worden niet aangehouden

Super Lage, nett - lohnt!

Die Lage ist kaum zu toppen: Frühstück mit Blick auf den See. Das Zimmer war eher suboptimal: zur straße, direkt an der hochfrequentierten, durch die Nacht durch permanent ins Schloss fallenden Treppentür gelegen, Gerenne, Geklacke, Gerede, Gekichere...Die Dusche lief fast sofort über, weil sie einfach nicht korrekt gebaut ist. Keine Ablagen im Bad. Super lecker Frühstück mit Blick auf den See. Super freundliches Personal. Macht Freude dort!

Sehr zufrieden. Plane nächstes Jahr in eine der Münchner JHerbergen zu fahren.

Beim Frühstück war alles da, sogar Vollkorn- und Käsebrötchen. Frühstück mit Seeblick. Toll.

Dame an der Rezeption war sehr nett. Wir konnten sogar einen Föhn leihen. Bei der Abfahrt war niemand an der Rezeption, auch auf Rufen nicht.

Für Durchreisende sehr angenehm mit wunderbarer Aussicht!

Die Lage ist traumhaft. Die Jugendherberge hat einen Fahrradraum. Auch Toilette und Waschbecken im Nebenraum sehr gut. Das Frühstück war gut. Es war eine ruhige Nacht und wir haben gut geschlafen: )

Das die Tischtennisplatte kaputt war. Diese hätten wir gerne genutzt, extra Kellen und Bälle mitgenommen :(

Insgesamt sehr hell und einladend; für Alleinreisende wenig Abwechslung, aber tolle Lage am See

Empfang; Fl. Wasser auf dem Zimmer; Lage am See; Frühstück und zusätzliche gastronomische Angebote (Automaten; Getränke am Empfang; Mittag und Abendessen (nicht genutzt); viele Sitzmöglichkeiten drinnen und draußen; kurzer Weg zum Markt - von dort fahren Busse zum Bahnhof bzw. andere Richtung;

Bad: Nach dem Duschen Bad ziemlich nass; keine Abstellmöglichkeit für Kulturtasche; Zimmer: Schränke etwas klein; Sichtschutz am Fenster nicht vorhanden; somit Vorhänge den ganzen Tag zu (im EG);
