Drangshlid Hotel by Tröll

Good location and breakfast is included. Self check in is easy.

The water from the shower means you have a very wet washroom. Our room was closest to the cafeteria and the cafeteria door was never shut so we can hear music and movement of chairs past 10 pm and early the next morning so it’s the type of place for a quick overnight sleep.

We liked the location near Skogar

No kitchen and no restaurant makes it quite impractical. Some rooms are disconnected from the lobby and dining room which is inconvenient in bad weather. The room was very small and had some issues when we checked in that needed resolving (and were resolved by staff). Shower had low water pressure.

Location and excellent breakfast

Bed was too small

Property is ok and location is stunning. Big common area with microwave & kettle and plates and cutlery for free use. Easy self check-in and parking. Breakfast is ok. Nothing “wow” but is fair.

Central heating was making noise aaaaaaall night in our room. It was SO annoying and we couldn’t rest properly. There is small fridge in the common area but nothing in the rooms. Also a chair would be helpful as well in the rooms. We could also hear everyone’s waking up before us. Window was not setting properly and the wind was inside our room. From my experience, it was an average stay and too expensive for what we got.
