Great location next to Skogafoss waterfall and good starting point for traveling south coast to east side.

The hotel room was very nice. Beds were comfortable and breakfast the next morning was very good. Dinner at the hotel was good but very expensive. They also had USB ports so we could charge our phones without an adapter.
Dinner at the hotel was the most expensive dinner we had the whole trip.

Location! Right by Skogafoss. I could see the falls from my room. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I had a great dinner in their restaurant. Their breakfast buffet was also very good. Very clean, access to great coffee at any time, and your parking for Skogafoss is free.
It's a well used hotel because of the location so it has that not so new feeling but it's clean! My room wasn't as roomy as some of the other hotels I stayed at.

The location of course was just amazing. If you stay during northern light season, it gets too easy to take pictures with skogafoss.
We had a rude person check us in. The property uses codes instead of cards and it had the potential to get confused. Asking for help was not appreciated by the staff.
