Very happy

Room with a view of the three peaks was great/breathtaking. Room was clean. Bathrooms were also well maintained. Breakfast was really good. Great value for the money.

As it was the "shoulder season" (early September), facilities and staff were a tad sparse. More access to refrigerators and kitchen facilities would be nice

if I visit Mürren again, I will book a different hotel far in advance.

The breakfast was surprisingly good. The location was fine -- great view, and walkable to everything (Mürren isn't that large, and this facility is essentially in the center). Staff was friendly.

The rooms were much more spartan than we expected. It felt like a barely furnished, *bare*, small college dorm room. Shared, minimalistic toilets and showers, a sink in the room but no soap, torn (holes?) sheet on the bed, a floofy and mostly useless pillow, and one heavy comforter and no ability to regulate the climate -- so too hot on warm nights. But the most challenging aspect was that for the first three days, the facility was essentially overrun by older teens/young adults on some sort of "camp". They were apparently unregulated by the few adults in charge and therefore awake and noisy outside and in the hallways until approximately 2am each night. once their group departed on Sunday, the facility became much more peaceful, and took on a nearly abandoned feel.

Location was good and so the price for the stay.

Breakfast ran out in the morning even though we were early. It was average breakfast. washroom didn't have toiletories except for the scope and towels e.g., no shampoo or bodywash.

Perfect to launch us on our adventure up the Schilthorn and Birg. Also well positioned for the Almenhübel.

This property was a nice surprise. The location was wonderful, just a short walk to the cable car up to Schilthorn. The breakfast was excellent and much appreciated. The whole place has a neat vibe--like camp but with private rooms. There were people of all ages there.

My only suggestion would be to have soap on the room sink. Also using simple plug adaptors works better than an all in one adaptor, because of the position of the light switches near the sockets.

Amazing little place up in nice location

Absolutely amazing! Super nice staff, breakfast really good and delicious, and location is awe inspiring! I got kinda unlucky with some bad weather, but was still a cool place to be at. Also literally right next to via ferrata entrance if that's your thing. I found the amount of space in the room just fine.

As I'm sure is already clear, gotta share a bathroom. This wasn't an issue for me though, and was super quiet on my floor most of the time. Just one thing about being in Mürren though, if you're coming back at night via Lauterbrunnen - Grütschalp route, be aware that the last cable car is pretty early (I think around 8/8.30pm). If you're willing to travel to Stechelberg instead of Lauterbrunnen, then last cable car is much later.

Central location close to everything including cable cars. Simple hotel with basic amenities but the best thing is the staffs. They are amazingly friendly, approachable and accommodating! Spacious room and comfy bed. We had good view of the mountains even at first floor. Good value for money.

It is in a great location. It was clean and the staff was great. We enjoyed the free breakfast and they allowed us to leave our luggage after check out while we hiked.

Amazing views, peaceful and clean

The views from our room’s balcony were to die for. The sport chalet is not much more than a hostel in reality, but it was impeccably clean and the breakfast was great.

Limited WC and showers per floor (2 each) for 10 rooms. No privacy in shower areas. There were lots of school groups while we stayed so the corridors were noisy till past 11

Breakfast was good. Variety of choices

First of all this location can only be accessed by cable cars. When I booked from Booking.com it was no where mentioned in description. This could have mentioned in capital bold letters. We were traveling party of 9 family members and cable car costed 11 CHF each, there was no discount for cable cars for us by hotel. Our stay was booked 2 nights. Secondly, bathrooms were shared bathrooms, Nothing (body wash, shampoo, conditioner) was provided by the hotel. Thirdly, no elevators. Forth, we requested rooms close by our room numbers were 2, 9, and 11 on third floor. If you are not a sports person please do not waste your money here.

Nice stay, friendly staff but too quiet as a town.

Amazing views from the balcony and great stay altogether. Breakfast was delicious. We met some wonderful co-guests during our stay. Piz Gloria is very close but we couldn't go there due to bad weather - fog and rain. However, I am sure this would be amazing when the sun's out during the peak travel time. It goes without saying that the staff was really helpful, they provided us with an upgrade and we got a room with the mountain view.

Two single beds instead of a double bed and we joined them together to make it convenient. It also became a bit colder during the night and the blanket provided wasn't enough. No lifts and had to drag our heavy suitcases up the stairs. Location in general was quiet and becomes very quiet during the off seasons during our visit to Murren and we did not realise this earlier. Literally, it felt like the residents left the whole town in the evenings as we went out for a walk.

The room we stayed in were tidy and nice. The bathrooms were shared ones but you never had to wait and they were kept very clean. The breakfast and dinner buffet was lovely as well.

The in house Sauna was used as a storage room for winter clothes and equipment. I was under the impression they are part of the amenities as well as a pool but the pool is located at the sports centre we got a voucher for that was valid for the duration of the stay. Only a minor detail that didn’t impact our stay but it would’ve been nice to use the sauna after a day on the skies.

I had a very nice stay here. The breakfast was excellent. Terrific view from dining room and patio. Great location right in town but off the main street so not so busy. Everything in easy walking distance. And the staff was very nice and helpful. Got to check in early.

Beautiful place, clean rooms and amaizing location!

The location is more than perfect, the breakfast was buffet with excellent options and the room was really clean and had an amazing view to the mountains. I would definitely go back.

The common areas were a little bit messy with clothes hangings on the balconies, shoes on the hallways and even underwear on the showers. There was only one electric plug in the whole room, there were usb ports next to the beds but PCs, IPhones and some modern phones don’t have USB chargers any more.
