P Galata Hotel - Special Category

The staff was very friendly, really we enjoyed staying and the location is near from so many touristic/historical places. The over all journy was excellent. More than above I am really falled in love with Istanbul.

The room is small, but we were stay the whol day outside. But it need to be more bigger also the cuboard was very small for 2 planned to stay 8 nights.

The location is great. I paid extra for a room with balcony. View was of rooftops and was good to see the buildings in distance. There is always a staff member available. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

The room requires full maintenance team to attend to all the broken things. Balcony door is fairly new double glazed. The door lock was broken which is security problem because the balcony is accessible. The toilet roll holder is broken. The sliding door which has dual action of covering either toilet or shower comes off the sliding track and is extremely difficult to move. Pump bottles for shower difficult to use. The hotel is okay. But difficult to understand why things are not maintained. Advertised as having a fridge. But it is simply a Peltier fridge which cools very slightly but cannot keep food at correct temp. Just for slightly cooling water.

Close to trams Close to Karakoy tower and shops. Very helpful staff Wonderful breakfast

The location is excellent, and the room was nice.

The room was way too noisy. The street noise kept us awake at night, which was a huge issue.
