Really good location, close to Galata tower, trams, ferry dock and you can easily walk across the bridge to visit the mosques. The hotel is new, facilities are clean, the staff is really helpful

The Wi-Fi issue and the way it was handled by the morning management were extremely disappointing. Free Wi-Fi was clearly listed as an included service when we booked this hotel. However, the Wi-Fi in our room was practically unusable. It repeatedly failed to connect, and when it did connect, we measured download speeds of only 0.36–0.75 Mbps, with very high latency. To make matters worse, there was almost no mobile signal in our room either. We could not properly use mobile data, make calls, send messages, or use the hotel Wi-Fi. My husband needed to work, but was unable to do so because we had virtually no means of communication or internet access inside the room. Wi-Fi worked in the lobby, so the problem appeared to be related specifically to our room or that area of the hotel. I would like to make it clear that the receptionist who was working during the night was kind and helpful. We reported the problem to him, and we appreciated the way he treated us. We were told that the issue would be addressed in the morning, so we waited and gave the hotel an opportunity to resolve it. Unfortunately, our experience with the manager and the female staff member who were working in the morning was completely different. The internet problem was not properly resolved, and when we asked what the hotel could do to compensate us for an advertised service that had not been provided in a usable condition, they refused to provide a refund or appropriate compensation. We even asked them to simply confirm their refusal in writing, but they refused to do that as well. We have screenshots showing the Wi-Fi connection failures and speed test results of 0.36 Mbps and 0.75 Mbps, as well as records of our conversations with the hotel. Had we known that usable Wi-Fi would not be available in our room, we would not have booked this hotel. Problems can happen at any hotel, and we understand that. The night receptionist handled the situation kindly, and we appreciate him for that. Our disappointment is specifically with how the issue was handled by the manager and the female staff member in the morning. A hotel’s response when something goes wrong is just as important as the facilities it advertises, and unfortunately their response left us extremely disappointed.
