Mövenpick Istanbul Old Town

‏ Very disappointing experience – not a five-star standard I paid a lot of money to stay at this hotel because it is advertised as a five-star hotel, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience. The cleanliness was very poor and did not meet the standards I would expect from a five-star hotel. The swimming pool was also disappointing—the water was very cold and the pool did not feel clean. The breakfast experience was uncomfortable as well. The manager was constantly present in the restaurant, watching what guests were taking and what they were not taking. This made us feel uncomfortable rather than welcomed. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a much higher standard of service, cleanliness and facilities. In my opinion, this hotel is closer to a three-star hotel than a five-star hotel. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine five-star experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the cleanliness, pool facilities and overall guest experience.
