AWESOME!

Breakfast was excellent. Location was beautiful and ideal. The dinner experience was so much better than we expected. The chef deserves a Michellin Star rating for sure. The value for money for the rooms was beyond expectations. I will definitely be back! The staff was amazing!

Beautiful Brda Experience with Amazing Wine

We absolutely adored the location—nestled among vineyards in Goriška Brda, it felt peaceful and picture-perfect. The atmosphere was intimate and relaxing, with a cozy, homely vibe that made us feel right at ease. And of course, the wine was outstanding—Kabaj’s reputation among the top 100 wineries in the world is well-earned.

Amazing stay in Slovenian Wine Country

We loved everything about our stay here. It was the last night of a beautiful trip to Slovenia, and the Kabaj hotel and staff made us want to stay on for another week. The tasting menu we had for dinner was excellent, the surroundings beautiful, the staff kind, the rooms well-lit and comfortable, and there is nothing I could even suggest to be any better. Looking forward to our next stay!

Delicious Tasting Menu and a cozy room on a lovely vineyard

Cute little room on a VERY charming vineyard. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the food was out of this world. We did the daily tasting menu and it was one of the best meals of our entire two week European trip. The place deserved a Michelin star for the creative and delicious plates, but the coziness, charm, and intimate feel made it so much better. Absolutely loved it!

An amazing vineyard in an amazing country

This is the second time that we have stayed at Kabaj and it is just amazing! The rooms are super clean and comfy and thank god for the aircon (this week was horrible in Slovenia). The place is great to comité and visit places around or if you want to go on a trail walk. But the best thing is the dinner. Kabaj offers a 5 course meal (well actually 9 course as there are many side dishes) with their own produced wine. You can see that they care for their wines when the owner explained every wine variety and how it paired with the Michelin star-level plates. (I have been to many Michelin star restaurant and believe me Kabaj has nothing to envy them). In addition the products they use are of km zero, reducing the carbon footprint and making the most of the local products. Looking forward to go back.

Amazing hotel

Amazing location, owner is a wonderful and friendly woman. Breakfast is topnotch. Room and balcony were great as well. Owner is very knowledgeable about their wines, which are decently priced.

Since you are in the middle of a winery, there's always noice during the day (and some times very early as well). So not a suitable venue to chill dyeing the day. Keep the Windows closed during the night as well if you want to sleep in.

Relaxing Stay with Delicious Food, Cozy Beds, and Wine on the Terrace

It's a bit a hidden gem, ... you need to find it (at least we have seen no sign)! When there it's really nice, ... one feels very welcome and it is a relaxing place. Rooms are big enough and the beds are quite comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and offers quite an variety on a high quality level. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Dinner there is really nice and just sitting on the terrace in the evening with a bit of wine, cheese and bread was nice as well.

We really liked our stay! Great experience staying there for a night in a beautiful vineyard, there is a small restaurant with delicious food and winepairing that we really loved! Also the view from the balcony is marvelous!

Exceptional

There's something very special about staying in a winery, but Kabaj Morel offers so much more. The decor of both the hotel space and room was tasteful and elegant, and our bed was super comfortable. But the real reason for staying here is the outstanding dinner with wine pairing they prepare for their guests - it was the highlight of our Slovenian trip! Tina and her family are incredibly helpful and gave us lots of recommendations, which we were very grateful for.

Super nice place with super nice people.

Super nice place and people. The room is clean and has a good sizeyy We had dinner in the evening and it was delicious with very good wine tasting. I can recommend the sparkling wine. The family run the place and they do a fantastic job. Breakfast was also good and more than enough. We come back for sure and bring friends.

Bed was a bit hard and the location of the air condition in the room is not very efficient. It takes a while until the room becomes cool.

The food in this hotel is fantastic, super nice with good service and price! a strong recommendation for dinner! The room is very clean and spacious.

There are no air-conditioning or fans, it was quite hot at night during sleep time. Besides, the reception place is not clear so that we didn't receive correct help at the first 30mins when we arrive.

Sehr schönes Weingut mit tollem Komfort und hübscher Einrichtung. Frühstück war excellent und auch das Abendessen vor Ort war sehr lecker. Sehr freundliches Personal. Toller Ausblick in die Weinberge.
