Dan Executive Apartment Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town

This apartment is in a residential building, but it comes with great service. The staff, from the reception to the doorman, is fantastic. The man at the front desk even placed an order for me via Taobao and advanced the payment. You can easily have your packages delivered there. There is room service, which is delivered by one of those robot machines. The elevator is fast and it’s not very noisy. There is a restaurant and a coffee shop downstairs where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a sandwich. The apartment is spacious with a partial view of the Canton Tower. It has a washing machine and a kitchen that is sparsely but sufficiently equipped. There is plenty of closet space and the bed is comfortable. It's easy to call a taxi, and you can get anywhere quickly.

The downsides are that, just like many of these kinds of apartments, there is some overdue maintenance, and it looks a bit greasy even though it is clean. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was very poor. The bathroom was quite small, but what bothered me the most was the sewer smell that often lingered there. You get used to it after a while, but it’s definitely not pleasant.

No tenía secadora de ropa, lo que me parece importantísimo por qué llovía demasiado y la ropa no secaba

Spacious rooms , friendly front office

Cleanliness - generally I feel housekeeping wasn’t well done. There was a day when the floor has soap stains which can cause falls, and the items were not replenish, including toilet rolls. We have 5 pax staying and would expect basic items to be replenished. The toilet and rooms, especially the former was not very well maintained. Lotsa of stains and moulds and the headboard has a strange smell. The location wasn’t optimal with no nearby eateries at walking distance.
