Hotel Villa Alpina ***S

Great location and a lovely place to stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay, and they also provided helpful restaurant recommendations.

The rooms got quite hot at night, so we had to open the windows, but because the hotel is on a main road it meant dealing with noise and light coming in through the night and early morning. It was a bit of a trade-off for the airflow.

Great rooms, easy to access from the car parking lot. Super helpful staff. Lovely location, beautifully appointed hotel. Do call ahead and inquire about the rooms and locations. My group had three rooms, all lovely, but quite different even though they were classified as two suites and one junior suite. We had one room facing the front, one on the rear garden and one middle hotel. One had a large sitting area and a considerably more spacious bathroom, but the hotel arranged for the smaller suite to have three persons when in fact the larger suite would have made more sense. In any event the rooms can clearly accommodate more people than Booking.com suggests.

The breakfast staff seemed a little overwhemed. Only one server taking orders for eggs and coffee while another cleared tables and another replenshed the buffett. The effect was such that you felt as though you were a bit of a bother if you wanted more coffee or were wondering if your order for eggs was in fact going to be served.

Loved the location and the helpfulness of the staff.

The road noise at night was loud due to having to keep the windows open because of the heat.

It is bit noisy and too close to next building. Hard to sleep with windows open. Breakfast was limited
