The view from the room was stunning! I only stayed for one night and I wish it had been longer. There’s direct access to the ocean, so we spent the whole day sunbathing and swimming — what a beautiful sea!
Thumbs up to the staff, everyone was so kind. The barman makes fresh orange juice and lemonade that you can enjoy right on your sunbed :)
Just a small heads-up: the road from the old town is quite narrow, so hopefully no car comes from the opposite direction — but it only takes about 5 minutes and it’s totally worth it!
Just a few minor maintenance details in the room.

The sea view and location was amazing
The Pool bar we were told would be open till 7pm, was closed on our arrival at 4pm and would not reopen. No seats to sit comfortably on the terrace
The restaurant staff was rude and didn’t really care about us. Many items were missing from menu and the food was cooked poorly

The hotel is in a very beautiful location next to the sea! Flexible check-in and friendly staff. The room was clean and quite big. Wonderful sea view from the balcony. So in the off season the place was quiet. Plenty of space at the pool and on the beach beds. Close to the old town, restaurant and bars.
At breakfast, not all products were so fresh anymore, e.g. fruit and eggs. Maybe this is because of the off season. The breakfast was otherwise good and had everything you needed.
The road to the hotel is very narrow. If you drive yourself, you hope no one comes to meet you. However, you can handle it if you have driven in the mountains of Montenegro.
The road is also hilly and the hills are steep, walking can be strenuous.

Beautiful place and amazing breakfast. The ocean view as well as access to the water is right in front of the hotel. Lovely staff and tasty food.
Only Nescafé for breakfast, this would he an amazing upgrade if the hotel would offer real coffee ;)

It was the best room I’ve ever stayed in! What a view!! + the staff at Eneida are incredibly warm and welcoming! Couldn’t ask for a better stay in Ulcinj! The sunbathing deck was also glorious and so tranquil. Would definitely recommend and stay again

It is a beautiful secluded-feeling property, with a lovely private beach and small pool, and there always seemed to be enough sun loungers etc to go around. The views are gorgeous from the balcony and breakfast. The room was well equipped and had comfortable beds, nice showers and decent aircon. We had a two bed duplex, with a small kitchen - it had a fridge, kettle, coffee machine and the basics for preparing a simple meal if you wanted to. The property is a short (hilly) walk (10-15 mins) to the old town for a wide array of restaurants, or down to the very busy public bay with bars, clubs and eating places. The staff were polite and helpful - especially the lovely guy at the beach bar - which sells reasonably priced drinks and tasty lunches/snacks - sales, wraps, pizzas etc from 2pm.
The road to the property is just awful - I'd read the other reviews that said this, but I didn't appreciate quite how bad it would be. We had a car but it basically put us off using it to visit anywhere (well, that, and the generally horrific traffic along the coast road in summer - it adds hours onto any trip!). I thought we could take a day and go to Kotor but that wasn't really possible. So we basically mostly stayed put - which was nice and chilled, but we would have liked to be able to get out more. We did go to Ada Bojana beach which was very nice. The breakfast wasn't really to our liking - some nice fruit and fresh bread and pastries etc, but the eggs were very overcooked and the coffee was awful - that is personal preference though. Also - there were a LOT of mosquitoes each night after 5pm - advise to get spray/repellant/plug in. We are arrived late our first night and didn't realise that they were all through our rooms - got eaten alive!

Went for a mother daughter trip- Absolutely amazing stay! Exceptional views, nice private beach, delicious breakfast and dinners at restaurant and the staff were beyond friendly. Can't say enough great things- well worth the money!

Great apartment and “hotel” structure. Nice pool and amazing beach area with sun beds and bar (shout out to the bar employer that was super nice to us!). The hotel is pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog to breakfast, dinner and also to the sun beds. The breakfast is amazing, and the restaurant is good but very overpriced - specially the wine bottles. They have parking space and is about 10 minutes walking until the old town. And friendly reminder - bring repellent to the beach and restaurant or you will be eaten alive!

My husband and I stayed for a week in June and had a lovely, relaxing time! This is a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful sea views and great food that Montenegro has to offer. We booked our stay months in advance and secured a great deal on what I think is one of their more basic rooms, which was spacious and clean, with a generous balcony and lovely view over the sea and old town. We ate breakfast daily there, and lunch most days, along with a couple of dinners too - the food offered is tasty and at a fair price. The gardens are beautifully managed, and there are plenty of sun loungers on the decks. We loved swimming in the sea here - it was just beautiful. Old Town is a 10-15 minute walk. There are so many really great restaurants there - it is possible to eat somewhere different every night, it seems! With either sunset views, or views of the other, more modern side of Ulcinj and its beach, which wasn't really to our taste. Yes, the final 700m of the drive to this accommodation is very hairy - a single track that hugs the cliffside with few passing places. But it is worth it!
Its hard to find something, to be honest - they know what they're doing here! At breakfast, the fried eggs could have been replenished more regularly to ensure guests are left with only overcooked ones (we prefer runny yolks)? A more reliable hot and cold water machine in the restaurant?

What we liked:
• Well-equipped beach with sunbeds, umbrellas, and easy access to the water
• Beautiful, well-maintained territory — five stars to the gardener. Lush greenery, flowers, and trees
• Tasty and high-quality breakfast
• Private small territory and convenient parking
Unfortunately, despite some positive aspects, our overall experience was disappointing.
What outweighed the pros:
• The room we were given was a tiny two-level unit. While it had a beautiful sea view, the air conditioning was only on the upper floor and couldn’t handle the heat. It was +29°C in the bedroom even with the AC on, and no cool air reached the lower floor at all.
• The ground floor had a very small kitchen and a wobbly, uncomfortable table that took up most of the limited space. It was hot, stuffy, and difficult to stay in.
• The lower level was clearly worn out and badly needed renovation.
• The balcony with a sea view was unusable due to constant direct sunlight and no shade at any time of day.
• Pricing felt completely arbitrary — staff seemed to change prices as they wished, quoting different rates each time, often higher than what was listed on Booking. When we asked to see a more spacious, one-level room that was available online at a reasonable price, they immediately increased the rate by 30%.
• We asked several times to change rooms but were refused every time — first we were told nothing was available, then told something was, but no one was willing to make the switch.
• There was no effort to meet us halfway or show any real hospitality. Staff may appear polite, but there’s no genuine care for guests. Unless you’re ready to pay whatever they ask without questions, don’t expect flexibility or attention.
Pet-friendly? Not really.
• The hotel promotes itself as pet-friendly, but in reality, there are signs everywhere forbidding dogs from stepping on the grass.
• There’s no designated area for dogs to relieve themselves, so we had to go off property — down a steep road next to a trash area.
• When our dog once couldn’t wait and did his business on the side lawn (we cleaned up immediately), we were immediately scolded and shown the “no dogs on grass” sign.

If you’re thinking of booking this place - DO IT!
As a self proclaimed ADHD - needs to be occupied every second - blue screen loving girl, the serene atmosphere of Apartments Enida made me wind down for the first time in a while. This is definitely a hidden gem. It’s beautiful & the scenery is amazing. They take really good care of everything here. Special shoutout to the gardening. Seriously - everything is perfect.
Location: 1.5 hour drive from the airport. I’ve seen how people say the roads are tight & single lane. They are! But that’s expected of a roads in Montenegro. If you’re a nervous driver/cba with driving - I really recommend just getting a taxi. A walk to the restaurants in the old town is 15 mins & quite steep sometimes so be prepared to break a mini sweat. Not too crazy.
Food: The food is FAB. Breakfast is buffet style & will keep you filled up till lunch (2pm) The servers & cook do a great job. Our fave was the Linguini Vongole (we had it twice!) + don’t miss out on the Princes Krofne dessert.
Drinks: We loved the beach bar, they do fantastic cocktails. We tried every cocktail on the menu & we really loved the espresso martini & blue lagoon. Not too sweet + ice cold 👼🏻
Top tip: If you can! Defo book the room with the balcony & you get access to the private beachfront + chairs (only for a few guests!) it’s worth it.

I had an amazing stay! The accommodation was excellent — clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which included access to a private beach and a jacuzzi. This truly elevated the entire experience. The staff were friendly and professional, and everything exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

Clean, modern roomy apartment. Good location can walk to the old town. Private beach platform area. Well kept pleasant gardens.Staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking was good.
Last kilometre from the old town to get to the property is narrow but very doable with care and overall it’s worth it as you get a lovely private location.

Super comfortable, well appointed suite with fantastic views to sea. Nice pool and plenty of loungers with easy access to the sea. Just a short walk to the old town.
The air con system for the kitchens was just by our balcony and was very noisy.

Everything. Breakfast good. Staff very friendly. Room excellent. View was amazing.
Having to walk up and down steep hills to go into town. Also the road google maps told us to go down was under road works so had to ask directions from a local and it takes you around very bendy not very wide roads.

Eneida Apartments was the perfect stay for our first time in Ulcinj. The setting is beautiful with a gorgeous pool and terrace for food & drinks. Our room was spacious and comfortable with good Aircon. The staff in particular were exceptional, very friendly and welcoming. The old town was a short walk with lots of lovely restaurants and terraces.

The whole stay was just fantastic. We had an Appartement with a balcony on each floor with incredible sea view. There was also a kitchen and coffee machine inside. The parts of the hotel are build on different platforms. The restaurant is on the top, then you have the panorama pool with the beach bar and further downstairs there is a private beach. On the privat beach you can either choose to stay on beton platforms or on wooden platforms.
The breakfast was really good, with a lot of choice. The rocky beach was really beautiful, there was no garbage at all in the water and if you have some goggles with you can see a lot of fishes swimming around. There were additional activities for guests, such as kayaking, stand up paddling, etc… and the view was really just breathtaking - i can‘t highlight it enough. Totally worth the money
It would be super convenient to have a store close to the Appartements, as going to the city required you to go down those terrible roads everyone is mentioning in the reviews. You get used to it, but this would make the hotel perfect. Or maybe a water taxi to the city of Ulqin?
The food and service at the restaurant did not fully reach their potential yet!

Eneida is a beautiful complex of apartments, set in the stones of Ulcinj, in a very quiet area. We love everything. Private beach, no fighting around chairs. Clean water, a pond for jumping, showers at the beach. I loved the beach bar as well, very friendly staff. The breakfast was good and sufficient. We had dinner here once, but we liked the restaurant options in the old town better. We were in rooms 102-104 and everything was renovated and nice. We had room service every day.
THE ROAD
I see people panicking about the road to the hotel, it is not that bad. Yes, only one car can fit, but it is not the main road, it is not busy. If it happens so, you "agree" on someone moving to the side and pass by. (I have added a picture of the road)
We liked pretty much everything. WiFi was really bad the first 2 days, but then someone came to fix it for the entire hotel, and it worked fine for the rest of our stay. It is not a con, but there are many stairs, if you have problems with walking or similar, take this into consideration.

The view is fabulous. The apartment was spacious and just right for our family of four. It was walk Paul into the old town near the fortress and had a terrific breakfast.
Unfortunately, in our room, the air conditioning wouldn’t work. It would overwhelm the circuit and the fuse kept blowing. It would turn off after a few minutes. Unfortunately there were no screens on the windows so although you could get a terrific breeze (we went May 28 so getting hot) the mosquitoes were awful. Since the air conditioning would not work we had to open the windows to get the air inside and we all were bitten all over our bodies at night. It was such a shame too. We didn’t hear anyone else complaining so we think it was just an issue with our room, and in fact the staff told us that our apartment connected with another apartment and the other people were using too much electricity. I think we would still stay here because it was so beautiful, but we would certainly ask for a different apartment. Summer is too hot to go without air conditioning and there are too many mosquitoes to keep the windows open.
