Apartments Eneida

The property is in a secluded location with stunning views of the castle and old town. The building is an architectural wonder, built on the side of a hill down into the bay. The room we eventually were given was a good size with nice views from the deck. The pool area was nice and there was a platform at the base of the stairs with direct access to the sea. The hotel restaurant served excellent and well priced food.

Access to the property is challenging - you need to drive down a narrow winding road past the castle around sharp corners with a significant section having no passing areas. Parking at the property is also a bit of a challenge. There are three parking areas, but it’s a bit of a free for all when it comes to parking the car. We were supposedly upgraded, and while the room seemed nice, the large deck was shared with the owners accommodation and there were 2 live bird’s nests directly outside the door to the deck, with birds flying to and from to feed their young and bird droppings under the nests. We asked to be moved to a different room (the one we had booked), but this was also a problem as there was building work on the deck adjacent to our room. We also had a constant problem with mosquitoes, somehow getting into the room despite closed doors and windows. Having booked the room six months earlier, we were pretty disappointed with the room they had reserved for us. The female staff in the office were friendly and helpful, as was the manager, but there was an older man hanging around, perhaps the owner, who was surly and unfriendly. The property is built on the side of a steep hill with stairs and no lift. Our room was at the top of the hotel, 120 steps up and down from the pool/platform. While we are relatively fit, this is not a hotel for people challenged by stairs. The hotel is located an 800m walk along the narrow winding road to the town, so it’s a challenge getting to the Ulcinj restaurants. Fortunately, the hotel restaurant serves excellent food and drinks. Breakfast was a disappointment with limited choices and an awful automatic coffee machine.

Die Apartments Eneida haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist einfach traumhaft und der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist wunderschön. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und hatte alles, was man braucht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Familie, die das Apartment führt – sie waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Wir haben uns so wohlgefühlt, dass ich meinen Rückflug um eine halbe Woche verschoben habe, um länger bleiben zu können.

Es gab eigentlich nichts, was uns gestört hätte. Alles war sehr gut organisiert und die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt.

Overall, we were very satisfied with the service and our stay. Everything was well-organized, professional, and ran smoothly.

The only minor downside was the food selection in the restaurant. While the food quality was good, the variety was quite limited. Expanding the menu would significantly improve the overall experience.

The sea view and location was amazing

The Pool bar we were told would be open till 7pm, was closed on our arrival at 4pm and would not reopen. No seats to sit comfortably on the terrace The restaurant staff was rude and didn’t really care about us. Many items were missing from menu and the food was cooked poorly
