We had a lovely overnight stay and couldn’t fault it.
We very much liked the friendliness of staff, the restaurant, the food, the size of and facilities within our room.
I had asked a question on booking and didn’t receive a response until we arrived. I was also looking forward to a bath after a long drive but I hadn’t requested a room with a bath, so that was my own expectations and no fault of the venue. I just wished it had said shower only.

Nice place to stay, friendly staff and good food
Friendly staff, good size room, food in resturant is very good, location goo and easy to park. We have stayed here multiple times as we have family in the area and it’s one of the best available
Checking in can sometimes be a bit slow as not all staff can check you in Room was too hot for us, we had to turn our radiator off but that’s just personal preference.

Great stay with warm and welcoming staff
Great location, good value for money and very clean. The room was warm and comfortable and staff were lovely.
This didn’t affect my stay, but the sound that would generate from people walking around the corridors, especially late at night or early morning did carry and as a light sleeper, the light from the corridors/ landing camping under the door did disturb me at times, but I would stay again

For a one night it was perfect shame about waiting so long for breakfast
Location of hotel was great and it was a well kept old building decorated to high standard
Room was very warm and as we where at the back by fire escape lots of noise with windows open Although breakfast was nice we waited over 30 mins from ordering

The bar area was quite cold as the only heat seemed to come from a fire and the radiators were turned off
