Very welcoming staff.
Lovely meal which was good value for money.
Constant phone reminders to check in/check out in line. Prefer personal check ins etc. - which we had, and made the stay nicer

Easy access to parking and other venues. Comfortable good sized room with character throughout the building.
Breakfast is an afterthought, the service is extremely slow and the coffee is just warm. We ate in the hotel one night, the gastro reputation is perhaps a little overstated as we had better options and food at the other local venues tried during our time

Location - good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful
All a bit tired and shabby. Stains on wall in bathroom. Loo not functioning properly. Public areas a bit run down. Very noisy as room directly above beer garden. Was expecting something nicer for the price
