Nothing everything was perfection

Bedroom and ensuite exceptionally well illuminated, for reading and general living . Breakfasts very good quality food and lovely scrambled egg
Staff very friendly and helpful
Bathroom fittings and cleanliness perfect, lovely to find a bath
Would have liked to be able to open the window, and although the air con was as quiet as possible we still found it intrusive to sleep through.
Breakfast vegetables were lukewarm or cold

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the City. The staff are great too, really friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The bed wasn't very comfortable and the room was too hot but otherwise, it was perfect.

The staff was lovely, especially the man who checked us in he was so kind and friendly
Also loved the fact that there was a fan in the room!
There wasn't many disabled parking spots so when the car park filled up my disabled partner and I had to walk quite far to get to the lobby
Disliked that the food hygiene rating was only a 4 I was shocked by how clean everything looked for you to only have a 4!

It is clean and a good location. Staff were helpful and friendly
We were firstly put in a damp room that smelled awful and of stale smoke couldn't have been used in years but we did get moved once i asked but these things should be checked or improved#42. However, the room we were then put in #75 although it didn't smell was very noisy as it is next to a fire door so heard it slam every time anyone went through it and the light from the hall shone through the door all night plus the double bed was tiny maybe a queen so not comfortable at all for 2 people. For the price it really wasn't worth and no breakfast was included plus you have to pay for parking so will definitely stay somewhere else when we come back to Lichfield.

The hotel location was excellent, easy to walk to everywhere in Lichfield including the railway station.
We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the room to find that there was also a separate small sitting room with a second television, sofa, canned water and a bar of chocolate.
Breakfast was fine and the coffee was good. The quality of bread used for the toast was high, actually better then in some 4 star hotels we have stayed in.
The lounge area is a good size, with comfy seats and a cosy feel.
We found the bedroom to be extremely hot, but thankfully the windows opened so we could cool it down! Not all hotel windows actually open nowadays!
The bar no longer served a few of the drinks listed on its menu, so was a bit disappointing - they really need to update the menu.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, excellent breakfast, staff were friendly and we found our bed very comfortable.
The building is very old so the floors make their own noises and the floorboards can be a little uneven but that is expected.
We was surprised that the food menu was quite simple, no homemade pies etc, but I believe they do a carvery on certain days plus when we stayed the restaurant was very quiet

slight bump/ uneven ness in the bed.

Very clean, superb breakfast, hotel located superbly.
Heater did not work so a new mobile one was brought in. Would have liked a street view and was told at reception I had got one, but I hadn't (very minor point), also reception guy was efficient at first but could have been a bit warmer; very good with the heater later on however (very minor point).

Huge breakfast! All staff were very attentive and polite. Close to town. Warm.
The room we were in was facing the courtyard. The noises outside our window (room 32) started shortly after 5am, mostly likely staff getting started. It was really loud and woke us up from that time. Possibly extractor fan and food/equipment being transferred in or out of hotel.
No side lights or plugs either side of bed.

Location. Car park.
My room was tucked away at the top. Small, cold. Towels thin. Duvet too thin for this time of year.

Beautiful building with nice lounge area, town centre location.
It was a bit of a maze to get to the bedroom. Although the bedroom itself was clean, it felt very dated and considering the premium rate paid the room lacked modern comforts which was disappointing 😌.

Location s staff are great.
The room was freezing when we checked in. We got very little sleep that night as room became roasting hot with no way to open the window and then 20 minutes later ice cold when the air con came on. This happened all night.

Darwin restaurant was very nice. Food was good and excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and professional
The Bed was old and soft. Room looked on to some outbuildings. Room was small and a little dowedy. Only one chaire for two guests. Breakfast : mushrooms, bacon, blackpudding had dried out from being under heat lamp too long. Staff friendly and professional. But at £180 for a Room that was slightly better than a B&B is too much.

Location was excellent, though was difficult to see the sign for the hotel as it at an angle. The room was clean & the bed very comfortable.
The parking extra payment the breakfast extra payment, what started as a good deal for 1 night turned into not such a good deal.
The bathroom could with 2 grab handles 1 opposite the shower & 1 at the side. The layout is quite small & 1 wrong move could lead to a bad accident.

Lovely hotel and very central, rooms were nice and staff were friendly. Couldn’t fault it
Shame you have to pay on top of the hotel cost to park in their car park

So many corridor doors I never seen before.
I recently had my knee surgery and our floor is between lift. I know they don’t know my condition but still not convieniant .

Car parking was limited and you charged for it !! The receptionist was miserable and unwelcoming. He's your customer facing 'first impression'. First impression was not good.
