Lovely location on the coast with lots of activities for families, especially sports. Breakfast was superb, one of the best selections we’ve had. Main reception area is huge with very nice decor. We were not accommodated in main part of hotel which we were not made aware of, we were sent to Marina wing opposite but this was absolutely fine and I think the rooms were more modern there anyway, so we were happy.

Rear and sides of the main hotel look a little dated, they haven’t been renovated to same standard as front of hotel which is a shame as it makes it look dated when you view it from the pool area. But this is just a minor detail and didn’t spoil our overall experience. Pool area got very busy in August but loved the option to sit in shade on one of the many sunbeds under the tree canopies overlooking the sea, this area was well used by people.

You should reconsider staying at the same hotel again.

The beach cleaning was very poor. Trash cans are not emptied, and there is no daily general cleaning of the sun loungers and beach. There are too many jellyfish in the sea, making it very difficult to enter the water and swim.

Dinner service could have been a little longer - buffet open for 2 hours which meant it was very busy. Food was good and plentiful though.

The sea views, location on a beautiful penninsula and impressive lobby are the positive points of this hotel. They also served a very extensive breakfast.

First time in Croatia

We enjoyed our stay at Park Plaza Histria Pula. At first, we were not sure if it was the right hotel for us because it was very quiet. In the end, it was actually nice to have a calm and peaceful environment. If you want a bit of the hustle and bustle of a city, you can take the bus (a nice 10-minute walk from the hotel) to the town centre (it takes about 20 minutes). There are tourist attractions within walking distance from the hotel and a varied programme of nightly entertainment, so you can not really get bored. We stayed in a room with a Marina view – the grey roof ruined it a bit, but we still enjoyed relaxing in our private balcony. The spa is brilliant with treatments and saunas, which are spacious and clean. The indoor pool is big and quiet. The outdoor pool is on the smaller side, but there are plenty of sun loungers around. Our package deal included breakfast and dinner – plenty of good food to choose from. Drinks and alcohol are not included but can easily be purchased at the bar or restaurant. The staff, from reception desk to chefs, are brilliant. They speak English very well and accommodating. The front manager dealt with our issue in a professional manner and went over and above to rectify the issue. We appreciated the complimentary wine.

The memory foam mattress wasn't for us. The hotel is a bit pricey but would recommend it to those visiting Pula.

Location, staff and breakfast were amazing.

The bed and pillows weren’t comfortable. There was no air conditioning working, despite the temperature above 24’C, which I wouldn’t expect from a 4 star hotel. We had to keep the balcony door open but there were guests outside making loud noises past midnight, which disturbed our sleep a lot.

An excellent hotel for the pre-season.

We visited the hotel in the pre-season, 5 days after the reopening after the winter season. (There were very few of us in the hotel, which suited the calm and pleasant atmosphere. I can't imagine what it's like in the main season). Everything was clean, fresh, smelling nice. The employees are very friendly and professionally helpful. A very pleasant hotel in the middle of the hotel complex. Tennis courts, promenades by the sea, a marina in the area..... You park your car in the free secured parking. The hotel rooms are big enough, the bed has a new, excellent mattress. The wellness is beautiful, recently renovated. Excellent cosmetic treatment. In-house hairdresser.

The food is decent, but unfortunately not great.
