The view from the pool was incredible
The air conditioning was very weak. The room wasn’t very cold at night.

Very good location close to La Rambla. There were always taxis available outside and if not, one was called for you. The luggage storage room was brilliant (although roasting as there was no air conditioning) but it was locker style so cases were locked away from other guests which was fabulous. You were given a key card to the luggage room which we used on check in when our rooms were not ready and the day of checkout, which allowed you to use the facilities at the hotel.
The rooms were not ready for check in time. We arrived hours early ahead of the 3pm checkin time and didn’t expect the rooms to be ready. We put our luggage in the storage room and went off into Barcelona. We came back to the hotel around 3pm as a member of our group needed to rest. Only one of the rooms was ready. This was unacceptable, rooms should have been ready for guests at the designated checkin time. We were able to at least all go and sit in one of the rooms. We ended up not getting the other room until around 5pm. The reception staff were very apologetic and offered to phone the room when the other room was available however this was very disappointing, the rooms should have been ready for 3pm checkin for new guests.

The breakfast was too expensive for the small amount we wanted each morning.
Room more basic than we had expected and too few coat hangers.
