An older property that was nicely presented.

Compact and cosy unit with a lovely private courtyard. Amazing oak tree in entrance!

As non smokers, unfortunately a dirty ashtray on courtyard table was off putting .

Roomy bedroom

Rooms were damp on arrival and needed a good airing or dehumidifier going. Small car park. Single bed in lounge/kitchen area but couldn’t make room dark from kitchen blinds.

Location was very convenient. Rooms were spacious and everything you needed was there in your private room.

My carpark was taken in the evening by another group that turned up. Which made me park on the street til they left or moved. Fortunately they left while I was still awake and moved it from the street to park.

The stay acheived everything I needed and that's why I have used this motel more than once.

The ability to arrive after the office was closed and find the room key was a great help for me as I was traveling up from Taupo to Auckland. The room was clean, neat and had all the features I needed for an overnight stay.

There was nothing I didn't like. The decor is a little dated and the shower door in the bathroom didn't close properly but these didn't reflect badly on my stay.

Comfortable mostly but I thought there were more cooking facilities there, that's why I booked it.

The bed was comfy and it was great to have the kettle and toaster and fridge. The TV was great with lots of channels. The carport for the car was really good.

The bathroom was awkward with the mirrow behind the door and the bifold door was awkwards and my son jammed his fingers in it. There were ants in the room which made me think it wasn't very clean. The towels that were there when we arrived were damp and not sure if they were actually clean.

Good accommodation for an overnight stay. Heaps of room for 6 people to stay. Accommodation was clean and staff were pleasant to deal with.

Fridge was a bit noisy for the guest staying in the living area, but not too terrible.

Staff were very nice and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and well kept and very comfortable.Very close and easy access to city centre if you are familiar to the area. It was mine and my families 2nd time staying with touchwood and we all confirm we will be back..

The shower head in apartment 7 was loose/needs replacing. Kept slipping down/rubbers have gone in it. My partner stands at 6"3 and he had to manually hold the shower head to have a shower.. other then that everything else was excellent!!

Bed was good , Pillows were too fat for me , I like flat pillows. My husband loved the pillows so all good. I should have asked for a flat pillow. Room was clean , Shower roller on door a bit fidley , come loose, , need to put more milk in fridge ir a small bottle , the pottles do not hold much

need different or more milk in fridge This is not a coplainbt , just letting you know that when it rains , there is a drip outside the ranchslider on right hand of door that drives you nuts' I put a handtowel under it to muffle it .

Quick stay visiting the family

We got upgraded to a 1-bedroom unit from a studio, which worked so well for us since my husband and I wake up at different times. The unit was quiet, well set up, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were decent, which we appreciated. One morning, we walked to Woolworths for some breakfast supplies. It's a pleasant 800m walk. We stayed for 2 nights while visiting family and would definitely use Touchwood Motor Inn again in the future
