Thenbedding & towels were clean, the bed was comfortable & the shower had good pressure.

The property is falsely advertised as new. It appears to be from the images but is in fact very damaged. All walls, doors, benches etc are dented, scratched or chipped. The property is dirty, there was even hair all over the bathroom vanity from the previous occupant. The over hob had layers of greasy buildup at the edges. The stairs & halls had dirty walls & leaves & dirt everywhere. The property advertises free wifi & 25 Sky TV channels but all the TV did was turn on & the wifi signal was incredibly weak & we couldnt even stream programmes on our devices. There was no info at the room for how to operate anything, or even any local information. There is zero privacy - you can be seen everywhere (even the bathroom if you have the window open) unless you have the curtains closed which are blackout, so its quite miserable during the day. Our booking was for 2 rooms & both were the same quality. The motel had the sence of halfway housing, with some of the other occupied rooms having some occupants appear like they were living there & there were cars coming & going all the time with some rough looking visitors who scowled at us. The staff were plesant, but reception was never open - we had to call & wait every time.

Can't really say what I liked to be honest, should of choose somewhere else.

Room floor wasn't vacuumed, couldn't cook the food I bought due to only a few things missing, room had electrical issues, TV stand had issues, only had 3 towels in the room, no tea towels no face clothes just 3x towels, oven was in a state mess, mattress is filthy stained with blood, slime, an wouldn't know what else, one rubbish bin for the entire room, not even a tissue was in the room, to say newly built is false advertisement to get customers, just because it looks new on the outside its a completely different story on the inside.

When i arrived and got to my room there were ants all over my bench in the kitchen area, there was no utensils, pots to cook anything and it was advertised that it had a fully equipped kitchen, the wifi was weak could not stream any thing, my tv didnt have sky and that was advertised on there led sign. I contacted the number provided and i got no help and when i talked to the guy who was there the next day and mentioned i wasnt staying the second night i didnt get an offer of refund or an apology

Don’t do it…it’s not worth the hassle & the Police stated that there are always problems at this motel!

Upon first booking, I thought awesome - a new motel! First appearances were appeasing.

I didn’t like the little area for parking (I had my ute & struggled to get in, out & swing around - luckily it wasn’t full). I didn’t like that upon entering the room, the toilet wasn’t clean & there was rubbish on the bathroom floor. I also didn’t like that another guest staying at the premises had a massive altercation with who was accompanying them & took a chair & damaged my vehicle as well as 2 other guests vehicles with little to no explanation from the motel, even after we rang the Police! I have messaged - & am still waiting on the email with the CCTV footage & the guests details!! I don’t like the fact that there is no management on the premises to deal with these things as they arise!

Despite the cons we were grateful to have somewhere to stay for the night.

Location was good as we were 5mins up the road from where we were going. Shower was great. Staff was lovely very welcoming. Had milk, tea and coffee which was nice. Bed was super comfy to sleep on. Had access to netflix so was lovely to watch movies with our 2 boys and get them settled.

It would have been lovely to have 4 towels as there were four of us staying as well as some facecloths. There was no toaster which we have never experienced staying somewhere without one and would have been handy but we did use the oven instead to toast the toast so not a huge loss. There was a lot going on and was loud with people talking, beeping horns towards midnight so didn't get much sleep.

Bed was comfortable. One pillow was good, the other pillow did not match was thinner, very cheap. Was quiet. Close to town center. Ample parking.

Communication was poor. They did not answer the phone after so many attempts even before day of travel they wernt answering. Got into room and hot water wasn't working in shower. Rang buzzer over and over at reception. It was clear there was no interest in helping was just ignored, had to have cold showers, water goes all over space in bathroom floor, very messy. Food stains up against wall and some on floor. Furnishings all cheaply made. Can only recommend location and cheap price.

Location was close to the event we were attending.

On arrival the office was unattended and took 10 minutes to get a hold of someone and then they were not prepared for our booking. Construction work happening right outside our room door, and we had to step over equipment in the stairwell and entering our room. No tv in the room, one was delivered while we were out, but not connected to ANY service so couldn’t watch anything. 2 towels provided, no face cloths, hand towels or bath mats. 2 flat pillows on the bed and the room was untidy. Marks all over the walls and debris from the construction work on the floors.

I very much enjoyed my stay here, the room is so spacious, very clean and it had everything you needed. It is the most easiest check in and out with amazing customer service. Thank you and I will definitely be coming to stay anytime I am in auckland.

Needs improvement

We could book one night only when other places in the area were minimum 2 night stay. Handy location to the event we were attending. Room decor was fresh and new.

Unattended, had to phone and wait for service to check in. Staff (who said she was only the cleaner) didn't understand booking system and took some time to find our booking. Rooms were clean but stairway and access to rooms was filthy. No instruction for TV, definitely not 50 channels of SKY, could only find Netflix app with owners account. Had cooktop, microwave but nothing to cook with. Towels but no face cloths or bath mat. No hairdryer. Pet hate one pillow each aaaah! Seems like everything was halfpie. Need to appoint the units with all that is needed plus instructions, including what to do in an emergency. And have friendly, knowledgeable staff who are there at checkin times and might get repeat customers. At least the bed was comfy, if that is all you need.
