Breakfast was good, plentiful, and the food was tasty. The location was very good and close to the bus station, which connected very well to the places that should be visited in Rome. The staff were very welcoming and responded to any need you might have, especially Carolina.
One thing that I think should be changed is the mattresses, as they were not very comfortable.

Location fantastic. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Carolina excelente. Also Elena . I was given a letter fir my room which was a bonus .
It would have better to have a glass in the room not a plastic cup.

We chose Hotel Trastavere for the breakfast and the location, and on both accounts it absolutely delivered. It’s so easy to walk from here all across Rome, and the breakfast is exactly what you need to top you up on your way out. The combo of fresh fruit bowl (oranges, pears and apples), nice yoghurts, boiled eggs and a selection of breads, meats and cheeses was perfect for us (and better than we could find in most other comparable options). In a culture that often has minimal breakfast options, this was so helpful to get us fueled up for the day and making the most of our time in Rome. Beyond this, the hotel is traditional and simple, but extremely friendly, clean and well-loved. The staff were all lovely and we felt very welcome throughout. If you’re expecting something very modern and international, you may want to take another look at the pictures. But for us it was exactly what we wanted and needed, and we’d recommend it heartily.

No elevator for regular use, so avoid going with elderly people.
