Tirta Sari Bungalow

Pleasant environment. A very relaxed vibe. Rooms were lovely and spacious. Pool and pool area where set in lovely garden. Staff very friendly. Beach just a walk down a laneway. Lovely with lots of beach bars. Our favourite was Dymple. Pemuteran is very chilled. Snorkelling and diving is the thing to do here.

Only thing we could complain about is the mosquitos. Not fault of hotel. Netting over bed is provided as well as mosquito coils and plug in zapper. Just remember to bring repellent.

We had nice bungalow with open air bathroom. The room was enough big and comfortable. The bungalow was in a well maintained garden. The open air restaurant laid on at the pool. Breakfast was tasty. The staff were kindly and helpful. Hotel spa was perfect with wonderful and good price massage. Hotel was in the center of the village close to the beach and turtle sanctuary.

We were really looking forward to staying at this resort again after several years, planning to spend our last peaceful days on the island there, as we had been completely satisfied before. We’ve traveled around Bali quite a lot and have plenty of comparisons. We had a reservation on booking.com for a standard room — the same type we stayed in during our first visit, so we knew exactly what to expect. It was a surprise when, upon arrival, we were told at the reception that we had been upgraded to an ocean-view room. However, this turned out to be a terrible room located outside the Tirta Sari area, where random people from the beach and tours were passing by. It didn’t feel pleasant to be moved to a completely different environment. We decided to solve the situation and asked for the standard room we had booked. The receptionist told us that all rooms were full. So, it was clearly an overbooking issue, and it seems we were the unlucky ones to suffer for it. After a short while, they offered us another room, which again didn’t match the standard type. We are not the kind of guests who cause problems, and if we had at least received an apology, we would have accepted the situation. However, we decided not to support this kind of behavior and stayed only one night. We canceled the following nights, and even then, we didn’t receive any expression of regret. When we asked about possible compensation at check-out, unfortunately, there was no success. The worst part was the fairytale about an upgrade instead of an honest explanation of the situation and an effort to resolve it. Apparently, they don’t care about earning money from food, spa, or other services if they treat guests this way. We only had lunch there — and to be fair, the restaurant still maintains its excellent quality even after all these years.

The staff were wonderful and the food was exceptional.

The gardens were stunning. We had a beautiful spacious room overlooking the pool with a lovely seating area on our veranda. We enjoyed massages at the spa. The food was excellent with many choices for breakfast included in our stay. We will definitely be coming back

Absolutely beautiful garden, perfect location so close to the sea breakfast passable and amazing considering it was included in the price. Staff tried their best and were pleasant at all times. Close to good restaurants.

.We were perhaps unlucky, the first night there was vEry trong wind and really heavy cables crashed onto our roof all night, vEry very loud and scary ANanddid not sleep all night as we did not know what it was,. Night staff could not help us as too dark . We spent n extra $30plus $ to get a kitchen. it did not meet our expectation as it was opposite a Buddha watefall had stagnant water in it andbreeding ground for mosquitoes, Only 3 plates under a rag which housed dozens of mosquitoes, one pan and no toaster, The issues were mostly remedied later for us. Just not worth the extra. The fridge was just ok, not very cool. The cables got tied up next day by the manager and pond cleaned the day we left. We had to leave early as the bar on the beach front got 4 huge speakers which blasted us out so loud it hurt our eardrums, we tried and the manager tried to get him to turn it down, neither were successful so we had to leave. Feel sorry for them l, hope the issue gets resolved but also spoilt our holiday as had to pay double for that night and go elsewhere. The underblanket was really disgusting and i took it off and it was replaced. Staff did their best but its age is showing a bit , rest of accommodations were back packer price so all in all very reasonable and har to get such lovely gardens in Bali these days so cheaply. The pool was gorgeous and Tirta Sari atrracts lots of return guests. Would return to a cheaper room if music issues get sorted.

We had a mouse in one of our rooms during two nights before we could change room. They caught the mouse after the first night but maybe it came back or there was a while family. The first night we had only one room for four, but the price of adding 2 mattresses was as expensive as the room (665k for the room and 600k for 2 mattresses). Afterwards we had two rooms (we knew in advance that the first night we would have only one room). Transfer from the airport: the driver didn't come to the passenger arrival but to another pickup point that we weren't aware of. It took us more than one hour to find him. It would have been good to know in advance where to find him.

The restaurant is good, just not quite great. Exactly what you'd expect, really. Breakfast was the usual Bali options with not a great deal of flair, but good enough.

The grounds are lovely. It’s quiet and there are good restaurants nearby and onsite. The pool is nice and we loved the room. The bathroom is a bit like glamping. The snorkeling nearby was also lovely. Would return to this more remote hotel.

Location is great being so close to the beach and many restaurants. Resort felt very safe and the staff were super friendly.

Arranged pick up from the airport and checked 3 weeks before coming that it was arranged and confirmed it was, to find out on the day we arrived in Denpasar that no one was there to pick us up. Slightly frustrating but able to arrange something with a taxi at the airport for a slightly higher fee.

Not an issue for Tirta Sari per se but operators nearby at beach charge use fee but avoid paying National Park fee at Menangan island and lunch spot is a pile of plastic rubbish with nowhere to sit !!! so beware caveat emptor

Hotel is not very big, with limited number of bungalow settled around a garden and a swimingpool. All are settle so that there no vis-à-vis, in calm area away from road noise. Bungalow was very nice with beautiful outside bathroom. Disapointing at first sight, but convenient and confortable in such country. Wonderful swiming pool, clean, with nice vegetation surrounding, flowers and a bar with seat in the water at the end. Hotel is 2 min walk from beach, and close from all commodities. Good small spa area is available all daylong at good price so very convenient as well. Breakfast was very good, served at table with choice and fresh fruit juice. Regarding restaurant, it was really good and very well presented for reasonable price. It is not pur habit at all but we finally took all our 3 diners here without disappointment. Spending few walk in other resort around much more higher standard on the paper, I highly prefer this small hotel one, much more confidential.

Our bungalow had a door locked, shared with a twin one. It was not a problem during our stay since nobody was there, but I wonder if it could be disturbing if occupied.

Driveway needs attention

Beautiful surroundings, fabulous welcome decorations in my room, exceptional service from all the staff.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel is near the beach, the turtle and reef project and you can still feel the nature around it.

The room was not has big has I expected but it was good enough.

The pool was lovely. The grounds were beautiful….trees, flowers. The clean beach was only 100 meters away with good snorkelling. The restaurant was atmospheric and the food for breakfast and supper was delicious. The staff always had a smile and provided excellent service.o

I have stayed at this property many times. The facilities are great, the restaurant delicious, but best of all are the staff. We come back year after year, particularly to see them. I can’t say enough beautiful things about Olive and all the rest.

Beautiful hotel a few steps from the beach. The garden and the pool are very pretty. It was my favourite hotel during our stay in Bali. The restaurant serves very nice food and it’s very nicely presented. Pool with swim-up bar. The staff was lovely and always there to help.

The bathroom could probably use an upgrade. When showering half of the bathroom gets wet. Add some additional lightning.

Super awesome value for money. Lovely villas, plus a great pool, restaurant, spa, leisure activities were all fair value.

Truly everything. Firstly the staff, always friendly and accomodating. The room was detached and was clean and comfortable. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Their restaurant was the best we experienced I 30 days in Bali. The quality of the food and presentation were superb. All at a reasonable price. We used their driver for pick-up from Lovina to drop off at Munduk for a good price. He was a very good safe driver. The swimming pool is clean and large with a swim up bar. Lastly we booked 2 snorkelling trips to Manjangan Island through them using their dive centre. They were both fantastic and so much cheaper than other places we compared. Don't pay excess for snorkelling trips, they all go to the same spots and the coral is amazing where on Manjangan Island. This hotel is incredibly well run and is great value.
