Appreciated toiletries in room, reception and bar staff very helpful. The lifts worked every time
Couldn’t get the tv to work, towels in the room were small when showering

Location, lift, bright room, city view, cleanliness, shoe shine, friendly helpful staff.
Room a bit small and foyer lacks character.

It's a solid 3 stars hotel. Clean, quiet, perfect location for discover city. Breakfast was the same each day, but all necessary were offered: eggs, bacon, sausages, muesli, pancakes, fruits, cheese and ham, snacks, drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. I could choose this hotel for next time again. Kettle into a room is a good option. Condition works good for heating.
Beds don't fixed properly, try to run away from wall.

The location was perfect, just outside of the train station.
For the price of the one night’s stay, I expected more. There was barely any room to accommodate 3 travelers. The beds could have been more comfortable. We could hear the people above us, and in the rooms beside and in front of us. If you want to relax after a long day of travel, this is not the place.

Great location, very close to the station, a big supermarket and a beauty/care store. I like that there's a kettle and complimentary tea bags and coffee sachets in the room.
Some towels looked a bit worn out

The hotel is excellently located in front of the central station of Leiden. The room was adequate, a single room with a single bed. The room is not very spacious but the space is well used.
Probably the single rooms are located on the lower floors. I had a room on the second floor, looking to a parking place, although I requested a room with a nice view. That could have been communicated before. Last year the prices of the rooms increased significantly turning them rather expensive in relation to what is offered.

Perfect for a business trip. Friendly staff and excellent location very near the station and city centre. Room was comfortable (although not huge), clean, and quiet.
Nothing really. Breakfast is a bit pricey but it's easy to grab something from the supermarkets next to the hotel or at the central station.

It had all the elements you need for a comfortable hotel.

Great location, very nice staff
Even by a New Yorker’s standards, the room was ridiculously small. There is no way two people could have stayed in the room at the same time

This hotel is located diagonally opposite the Leiden Centraal station, has plenty of earing places surrounding it. The staff is polite and helpful. The rooms are super clean, with right amenities. Shower is excellent. We had their breakfast on 2 days, it was good.

The location, as ever, is very good, although the area generally is looking a bit tatty, awaiting further redevelopment.
1/ One of the lifts was extremely slow (when you were in it). Apparently, it was waiting to be fixed. we were told it was still safe to use, but it made strange noises so didn't use it, which meant waiting extra time for the other one.
2/The bed was uncomfortable, and creaked. There was a mattress topper on it, so it was obviously quite old. It gave me bad backache.
3/ The air conditioning was very noisy, not all the time, but often enough to have to get out of bed in the middle of the night and switch it off - then be uncomfortably hot.
4/ The breakfasts are poor by UK standards, OK if you only want a Continental style meal. Although omelettes, sausages and bacon were provided, they were very unappetising. Nowhere near the quality of a full English breakfast in the UK. Another gripe was that the toaster went on the blink, and we had to ask the manager to replace it. To her credit, she got it sorted by the next day, but, as per usual, it took ages to toast two slices of bread.

Very convenient to train station and for walking around town (but watch out for bicycles!). Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast (extra charge) was pretty good.

Cockroaches in the room!! Flor was not clean.

The hotel was clean comfortable and warm. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for the train station.
The lift didn't always open on the 3rd floor . I had to press the exit button. I may have had too many beers so it was probably me.

Location and great breakfast. Excellent shower. Convenient public car park.
The price was too high. I chose it because I thought I was going to get a better quality of room compared to the cheaper competition nearby. But in reality the room was too small for two tall adults, the twin beds were too narrow and no room to stand a toilet bag in the bathroom. The television only showed Dutch channels. No Netflix or BBC or even an English speaking world news channel.
I was disappointed.

Great location. Excellent staff particularly the woman from Aruba on reception. Nice and quiet at night.
Room shower flow was dreadful. Would have liked more hot choices at breakfast.

Very well located next to the centre and the railway station.
Ibis are careful to say they do not have parking (but there is public parking (but expensive) close by. YOUR website (Ie Booking.com) say up front PARKING. This is grossly misleading so in future I will try very hard to avoid using Booking.com
6.0 / 10.0
Proximity to the public transport.
The specific area it is located is a bit run down and currently building works are taking place around some of this area. Hopefully this will improve this particular part of Leiden.

The lady on check-in when I arrived was welcoming, informative, and very friendly.

Location is excellent, short walk from the train station, great links to many places and central for everything. Comfortable clean room, very comfy bed, good size.
Would have liked a mini fridge in the room for water etc. Other than that there was not much to complain about. The water in the shower and sink was slow to drain away but apart from that everything else was very good.
9.0 / 10.0
Friendly and helpful staff, very convenient localisation just opposite to the central train station. Two supermarkets nearby.
It is necessary to scan the room key for extra security before being able to enter the elevator and the stair case to the rooms.
The garage costs 16€ per night and is just a 5 minute walk away.
The room has a very big shower, AC and big windows. Although we had the "do not disturb" sign out one day, we still found a paper bag with fresh towels and cups in front of our door.
Unfortunately fully opening the windows was not possible, only putting it on an angle. The room could provide a second garbage bin, as the bin in the bathroom is very small. A fridge in the room would have been nice, too. Although fully closing the curtains it does get quite bright in the room after sunrise, so please bring a sleeping mask in case you easily wake up from brightness.

The location of the hotel is the best you can get, right next to both the city center and the trainstation.
The room was quite small for 3 person, not much room to store things. Also, beer selection at the bar is quite short.

Very good location, right next to train station and easy to get to the centre of town. I like that there are two entrances. The bed was super comfortable and I had a view of a windmill. The staff were really nice.
One of the lifts made scary noises... Sounded on the verge of breaking down. The shower faces down so you have to stand really close to the wall.
I also had a weird experience where I think that the family next door accidentally entered my room. It woke me up and I was confused. I told the staff and they said they would get the guy to check the keys and make sure they could not access more than one room. The staff were so nice about it though and gave me a free drink and believed me even though I was hazy on the details. I did not feel angry, just more concerned that this could happen, and so I'm glad they took it seriously.

Friendly helpful staff, clean room with air con. Great shower. Toiletries were refillable so very little single use plastic in the room - lots of sustainability initiatives. Right by the train station, lots of bars restaurants and sights just steps away
Due to our travel weekend we paid an inflated rate

Very friendly staff. Clean, practical Ibis room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Secure bike storage. Only a short walk to the centre.
The bike storage room was down a flight of stairs, and far too small for the number of bikes.
