A lovely building and a great welcome. Our room was large and very tastefully decorated as was the bathroom.

In the morning there was quite a lot of traffic on the road which woke us up- lots of Lorrie’s.

Perfect end of tour stay

Really nice hotel, the last one we stayed at on our French & Belgium tour. Not far from historical Ypres and WW1 battle sites. Great off street parking for motorbikes. Decent food, friendly staff, decent shower and bedrooms are a good size. Recommended.

Good hotel, nice and clean, good price considering the towns location.

The hosts were odd and we weren't allowed to use any part of the hotel other than the room. We tried to get a drink at the bar, they said we weren't allowed to drink inside and had to go outside. Everything was locked up for the 3 days we were there, it was all very strange.

Great place to stay in the Ieper area

The owner has very friendly and welcoming. The location is was very convenient, close enough to Ieper, but also near interesting places to visit. The hotel has many amenities for people with small children. Very close there is a great place for breakfast (Tiebrood) and right next to it the Guynemer Paviljoen. I absolutely recommend visiting it, it is maintained by a local that is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the city and the area.

The only downside was the soap and gel dispensers in the room were empty or almost empty. Besides that, everything was perfect.

Unfortunately, we received a front facing room, despite specifically requesting a garden facing room (hotel was empty!) further, breakfast is not delivering value at 20 Euro per person. Stale bread, few-days old Croissants is not what I would expect for the price.

A delightful find. The owners were very welcoming and ensured we felt welcome. Our bedrooms on 2nd floor were very well appointed ,including an excellent air con system ,very necessary during our visit. It is an hotel/restaurant with 13 rooms . A very good breakfast was available ,which we took each day. Evening dinners were very good indeed and much enjoyed. Very close to major WW1 sites and a good base for a tour ,eg Ypres 20 minutes drive.

Convenient location if you travel between France & Belgium.

Very friendly hosts, liked that they do their best to make your stay comfortable. We spent a very lovely weekend here and it was very convenient for us in terms of the location as we were visiting Lille, Ghent & Bruges throughout the weekend. Our baby daughter loved playing with all the toys available in a breakfast room. Dinner was very good too.

Excellent rooms, beer and food!

One of our stop-overs on our Western Front Way walk. The hosts were very helpful and friendly - allowed us to check in when they found us sitting outside, even though several hours before official check-in time. Rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The B&B has a bar and restaurant, with an impressive selection of beers, several of which we enjoyed sitting in the very pleasant outdoor terrace. We ate in the restaurant at night and the food was excellent and great value for money - can't praise the chef (one of the owners) enough. Breakfast was very good. This wasn't the cheapest of the B&Bs on our visit but it had facilities that none of our other stops offered so, all in all, worth the extra pennies.
