I really disliked being forced to pay for a breakfast I did not want. Was poor last time!

The location for me is perfect. The room is basic, but had all I needed and wanted, including the balcony. Housekeeping picked and chose what time they would clean your room... One day it was 10am, the next it was 4.30pm. This annoyed me somewhat as I like to know I am not going to have them knock on the door at any given time, particularly if you are in the shower or bathroom

Being charged for breakfast which they included in the room charge. A breakfast I neither wanted or would eat. Really poor offering for breakfast and chose to eat elsewhere. I didn't want it included in the room charge, but they said it was now charged regardless of whether you ate there or not. I find upper Management unwilling to entertain any form of negotiation, especially given I stay here about 4 times a year.Not conducive to maintaining a customer/business relationship at all, with no loyalty to me at all

Stay for price & location

The location is convenient for Seminyak and the beach. The hotel provides several water coolers on each floor

Rooms not the cleanest. The linens looked quite dingy and the bed felt like a box spring with a sheet over it. I had to switch hotels after 3 days due to an aching back from the bed

It’s fine, but you get what you pay for

The property’s location is pretty good for those looking to access Seminyak beach and some markets. Many restaurants on the street also. The bedroom was largely clean and had the basics.

Bathroom featured a crack shower which leaked water onto the floor each time it was used, likely in need of renovation. Speaking of renovations, the room across from mine was being renovated. What this meant was during the day there were banging noises (not great if you’re coming back midday for nap).

Budget hotel. 😶

The location was good. The concierge were friendly.

The outdated bathroom was not clean, and the cleaners never cleaned it during my stay. The whole hotel was not clean. There were no toiletries. Not even handwash. Towels and bed linen and pillows were old and had stains. The pool was not a place anyone would go. It was ugly and had only 2 chairs. I never saw anyone use it. The breakfast dining area was not clean and outdated. Staff were usually on their phones and paid no attention to anything else.

cheap stay

Location was good. The aircon was powerful. Good place for a cheap short stay near the beach. great place to stay if you’re wanting to explore the area.

the room smelt like body odour and the towels smelt like chlorine. the toilet was heavily stained. WIFI was inaccessible. Doors were thin so you can hear everything in the hallway.

sheets did not smell new or clean. towels looked old and not even white (did not even use it) toilet has yellow stains, dust everywhere, we booked in advanced for at least 1 month for 2 double rooms and 1 twin, but we were given all twin rooms. told the front desk not to clean room, and yet it was cleaned every day. worst IBIS hotel we've been to.

Great location and value for money

- excellent room facilities - very well maintained and clean - nice breakfast buffet with very friendly, attentive staff - very central spot in Seminyak, with bars and clubs nearby and 10 mins walk from the more quiet Seminyak beach, compared to Kuta Beach

- There was a strong artificial smell of some room perfume in the elevator. - the scooter rental was 70k IDR and therefore more expensive than in other non-budget hotels - the pool was very cold, as there is no sun where they built it

Nice hotel with a minimum of comfort

Unfortunately there was only an electric AC and no possibility to open the window to have natural air in the room. At least a fan at the ceiling would have been nice.

On a positive note, I will say that the staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be.

I had problems from the moment I checked in. I could not access the room as the key card wasn't working properly. When I eventually got into the room the electricity kept cutting out. The helpful staff at reception arranged for me to change rooms and they were very apologetic. Now in my second room, I discovered the soap dispenser wasn't working properly so that had to be changed. Further to my disappointment, the air con unit was dirty and very loud. The hotel describes the rooms as 'soundproof'. This is definitely not true as I was woken every night by other guests banging doors and making noise. Also, I could hear phones vibrating from the room upstairs as well as other toilets being flushed. The hotel also states that pool/beach towels are provided. Whilst I was given a towel for the pool, I was told that beach towels are not provided by the hotel. A sigh of disappointment yet again. It is clear to me that this hotel needs to be better maintained and that these issues arise from poor management systems.
