Fabulous experience - wish I had stayed longer!

Location a little isolated but added to the peace and quiet and real Thailand experience. Food very good. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. Staff could not have done more. A bit pricier than expected but note that this is an island with limited options. The beach was amazing with perfect views of the Bay. Could not get enough of it.

Noise of sicadas and insects one night kept my friend awake for most of it! There is a bit of a smell in the kitchen when the doors are kept closed but quickly dissapates when they are kept open.

The whole place was excellent including the owners George and Bee. There is an issue with low tide exposing rocks, etc. but working with the supplied tide tables no issue at all.

Exactly what the Dr Ordered! Would stay again

I loved the service from Ryan! Anything we needed, we’d just message him and he’d organise it. I love The tranquil nature of the accomodation. It’s beautiful and peaceful. The island doesn’t have much in the way of transport but the accomodation will organise anything you need - which was incredibly helpful. The restaurant was wonderful as well.

Mai Cottage is partially open roofed which we didn’t realise. The bed has a fully enclosed mosquito net and fans. It was stunning and added to the real island, tranquil experience but just mentioning so travellers can be prepared with mosquito repellent.

It was a perfect getaway from Bangkok to rest and discover Koh Yao Noi. The hotel is charming !

The hotel is very nice and the room was incredibly big! The staff was super helpful and extremely nice. They helped us organize our arrival and departure from the island. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious. The hotel is a perfect getaway from Bangkok to get some rest and enjoy Koh Yao Noi.

A hidden GEM in Thailand ❤️

The property is a serene oasis butt up right on the beach, scattered with tropical plants and trees, making the space feel secluded yet nourishing and absolutely stunning. The architecture of the beach villas are so beautiful- each one having their own gazebo type patio as well. So much seating and places to relax. Just upon our arrival, my partner and I took a much needed nap in the hammocks after traveling. It was the most relaxed we’ve been in a while! This place is incredible on so many levels, from the outstanding food, the pools and beach access, the grounds, and down to the level of attention and care from the staff. They really care here! We had awesome conversations with Asma (such a sweet and friendly woman!), Bee at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, as well as Ryan, always there to offer his support to make sure our stay on Koh Yao Noi was memorable. They went above and beyond to meet some accommodations that I needed mid stay too. Just in awe of this place. Travis and I will be back as soon as we can- even though we’re across the world 😉

Serene Nature Retreat - A Hidden Gem in Thailand

Koyao Bay Pavilions is a beautiful and serene place to get back to nature. We stayed in the Taara Villa, which has an outdoor kitchen and living room encouraging us to spend more time outdoors, listening to the sounds of nature. The outdoor area has multiple large fans to stay cool and keep mosquitos away. The front yard of the villa is beautiful with trees, flowers, small ponds, and a large pool. The villa is a short walk to the beach, and also close to a local grocery store if you'd like to purchase fresh fruits etc. The beach was nearly empty every single day, and there are multiple hammocks in the shade that you can sit in and read for hours. The views of the Phang Nga Bay are incredible, and I highly recommend waking up for a few sunrises. Keep in mind that the water around Koh Yao Noi is not going to be the crystal clear water you might find at other islands in Thailand, however you can easily take day trips to places with clearer water. One day I took a long walk along almost the entire east coast of the island, and when I passed beach after beach, I saw very few people. We go to Thailand often, and this is the least crowded, and one of the most calm islands we have visited - we were there in April. At the same time, there is plenty to do if you'd like to such as short trips to nearby islands, bike rides, visits to farms and more. Bee, George, Ryan and the entire staff are so helpful, and we would definitely go back again and stay at Koyao Bay Pavilions.

Look no more!

Lovely, quiet place, tucked away in beautiful nature. Beach is empty and quiet with some hammocks that make you feel like you found paradise. The restaurant serves delicious dishes.

Well, hard to say, if anything the pool water temperature was too hot to eventually cool off but that was during hot season. Kids still loved it.

Peaceful and amazing stay

The property is beach front. Although, our villa was not exactly beach front but barely a short five minute walk away. Villa was neat, clean, spacious and aesthetically maintained. The pool was shared with another Villa but was quite big. Outside sitting was also very comfortable. Ryan very promptly guided about scooter rental, things to do on the island, attractions, ATM, boat tours. Their La Sala restaurant is one of the best places to eat on the island and really serve good food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at the Pavilions. Great villa, great staff, and very good restaurabt

We love the island of Ko Yao Noi. It is centrally located between Phuket and Krabi and is a perfect launch point for exploring the beautiful limestone islands of Phangna Bay and the Andaman Sea. The Pavilions are situated on a beautiful stretch of beach. We occupied the spacious and very comfortable Mai Mai Cottage. This is set back several hundred metres from the beach but in a beautiful forest location. The enormous space of the villa was luxurious for four guests and we spent quite a bit of time in the large outside Salla. We liked the availability of kayaks and paddling to the nearby islands. We liked the fine quality of the Pavilions restaurant, although the food is reliable good across the island so we dined there very seldom. We loved the friendliness and geniality of the owner/manager George and his staff always generous and willing to help.

When we stayed there was some construction nearby the villa which was noisy. The area between the villa and the beach is also under construction. The road into the pavilions is partially dirt and is not in great shape and a little difficult to handle on a motor scooter, the main form of transportation on the island. The counter in the kitchen of the Mai Pai Cottage is lower than it should be and makes it hard to work on or wash the dishes.

Paradise. Much needed rest in a

Hotel was better than in pictures. Beautiful location, amazing pool with jaw dropping view, kind and warm stuff. The Spa is one of the best - better than 5 star resorts with care and knowledge. Food was so good - customised grilled seafood, delicious breakfast buffets. Just loved everything about it. Was way beyond my expectations and helped me recover and rest. Went to spa everyday.

A wonderful place to stay for a romantic getaway. Huge ‘rooms’ if you can call them that! You get a massive villa and a wonderful roofed outside space with pool access. Heel schone villa en prachtig strand. Zwembad was heerlijk schoon. Leuk om een kajak te kunnen pakken.

Het prachtige huis in de meest sprookjesachtige omgeving. Met daarnaast nog een master bedroom huis en een overdekt buitenzitje met fan. Binnen de uitgebreide keuken, de informatie en het bijgelegen resort waar je heerlijk kunt eten en naar het strand kunt gaan. Echt het mooiste verblijf wat wij ooit gezien hebben. Heel bijzonder. De omgeving is ook geweldig. Alles wordt voor je geregeld. Een hele dikke 10

Très bon séjour, cadre très agréable

Hôtel au calme, séparé en plusieurs secteurs. Nous avions loué le cottage sur 2 étages. Les chambres sont jolies, spacieuses, très propres et bien équipées. La terrasse est très agréable. Une seule chambre était climatisée mais ce n’était pas gênant (plusieurs ventilateurs très efficaces dans l’autre). Piscine partagée, juste à côté de la chambre, agréable. Le personnel est très sympathique. Le restaurant est très bon. Nécessité de louer des scooters pour se déplacer. Loueur juste à côté de l’hôtel. Très peu de circulation sur l’île. Nous n’avions pas l’habitude de conduire des scooters mais il y avait tellement peu de circulation que nous n’avons pas eu de difficultés.

Les 2 chambres ne communiquaient que par un escalier extérieur ce qui était un peu compliqué avec nos 2 enfants. Nous avons chacun dormi avec un enfant (mais ça ne nous a pas empêché de prolonger d’une nuit notre séjour). Les ouvertures se ferment seulement avec des volets, ce qui laisse rentrer quelques insectes. Peu gênant car les moustiquaires sur les lits sont bien efficaces.

Traumhafte Unterkunft in der Natur

Grosszügiger Schlafraum, Dusche und WC im Freien, jedoch wunderbar gedeckt. Wirklich einmalig. Zum Schlafpavillon gehört vis a vis nochmals ein offener Pavillon mit Liegen und Hängematten, auch dies sehr grosszügig. Es gibt nur 3 solcher Strandvillen. Dazu gehört ein grosser und schöner Pool und Blick direkt auf das Meer. Die ganze Unterkunft ist wunderschön mit Pflanzen und Bäumen umgeben. Ein kleines Restaurant gehört ebenfalls dazu, welches Frühstück und gute Thai Küche anbietet. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft wird täglich sehr sauber gereinigt. Die Lage ist ein wenig abseits des Ortes. Fussläufig etwa 20 Minuten, man kann jedoch Moto Bikes mieten oder ein Taxi für 100 Thai Bath pro Person nehmen. Einzig zu erwähnen ist, dass die Unterkunft keine Klimatisierten Räume hat. Es stehen jedoch überall Ventilatoren zur Verfügung. Alles in allem eine traumhafte Unterkunft mitten in der Natur.
