I really enjoyed my stay in Koh Yao Noi. The owners, Marina and James, were incredibly kind and helpful, and it’s clear they’re well loved as every backpacker I met at the hostel had great things to say about them. I stayed for two nights and felt like part of a small family, sharing meals and hanging out together with the other guests in the afternoons. I highly recommend this place and would absolutely return!
Just note that Koh Yao Noi is quite rural, so don’t expect fancy amenities. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and very friendly, which is what I valued most. Transportation can also be a bit tricky since Grab doesn’t work here. When you arrive, local drivers will be waiting at the pier. I paid 100 baht for a ride to my hostel.
