We booked the penthouse as there were 5 of us and needed 2 bedrooms. The good points- great location, pools lovely and accommodation good.
Low points- hotel expensive, there were 2 beds made up when we arrived so I asked for additional bedding so kids could sleep on sofa bed. Was told that it was an extra 200 baht per night for the bedding. I asked what they would have me do as I booked for 5 persons. They said in Thailand they expect children to sleep with parents so had expected my kids age 10&8 to sleep with us in a bed. My mother in law was in the other bedroom. I said no and didn’t pay but just felt like they were trying to charge you at every turn and *** for 5 nights I felt I’d spent a lot already! But we loved the island and found the restaurant on the main road much better value as to moped hire and trips.
