We had an amazing Birthday Staycation at the St Regis. Great food and wonderful service by the entire team. Special mention to Panda at Cafe Ginori and Chef Lalit Singh from Olea Restaurant for going above and beyond in preparing food as per our requirements.
Truly a wonderful stay.

Almost everything. In particular restaurant Sontaya. This was one of the best Asian restaurants that we have ever visited. Surrounded by water on all sides the menu was very comprehensive. We had different dishes on each of our six visits and every dish was excellent.
But even better than the food was the service. The most friendly, well trained staff that one could ever wish for. Truly exceptional and way beyond expectations.
The main restaurant was excellent for breakfast but the one meal we had there, other than breakfast, was disappointing. We never tried their various buffet evenings but can imagine that they would be fine.
The other restaurant, Sophia, we found not to our taste. We ate inside and felt the surroundings a bit soulless and lacking in atmosphere. No complaints about the service though we found the menu a bit limited.

We had a wonderful stay at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort! Everything was exceptional — delicious food, genuinely caring and attentive staff, and a beautiful, newly renovated room. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our stay flawless from beginning to end. We will definitely be coming back!

Good food, friendly team
Renovation by the pool was a minus - adults pool closed and had to share pool with families. Not ideal when taking a weekend off from your own kids
