Unexpectedly average for St Regis. Not bad, not great either

I liked the facilities and the staff around the hotel and cleanliness’s and comfort of the room was top.

At check in, we waited over an hour in line. It was a waste of time and no one was attending to us, no drinks, no welcome. Reception area is poorly designed. Dinner was dissatisfying. Not many options and the available options in buffett were not Regis level.

Really lovely. Would come back but only one pool isn’t great for families.

Lovely room with twin queen beds for me and my son. Very clean. Having a supermarket and cafe / pharmacy on site is brilliant and helpful. Staff were so lovely particularly our room cleaning staff and the staff at breakfast. Staff at the family pool amazing. Every single one. Couldn’t do enough for us. Loved the fruit kebabs and ice lollies given out throughout the day. Plus the free suncream and water in ice buckets. Lovely service.

The family pool is basically the only pool you can use if with kids. The adult pool is stunning but can’t use it and it was empty most of the week we were there. Why not advise guests the pool will be opened up to families with kids over a certain age? It’s empty anyway? Also can’t be called two pools as they’re basically one big pool on two levels but you have to get out to walk up a couple of steps to get back in the other. Better design needed to have some internal steps taking you from the higher pool to the lower one.

Excellent hotel made even better by exceptional staff

The stay overall was exceptional with a beautiful room and a wide selection of facilities. However, the highlight was the exceptional staff, with Arshan, Orshen, Francis and William who staffed the Adult Pool going above and beyond in every regard. Both me and my partner came away from our short trip in agreement that this was probably the best hotel experience we've had - a beautiful hotel and fantastic service.

The only minor complaint would be the quantity of construction works and maintenance, although given that our stay coincided with Off-Season in the UAE this is understandable and unavoidable.

My two-night stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. Yasmin at the reception was extremely kind, helpful, and truly one of the most welcoming staff members I’ve ever met. She took care of every request for me, my family, and my children with such professionalism and warmth. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Room facilities is great. Personnel is marvelous, probably the best I've ever seen. Breakfast is amazing too.

Not enough signs, hard to find places outside (beach, restroom especially). Many hairs floating in the pool. No nets to stop jellyfish from coming to the coast line — made me afraid of going to the water.

Overall another great stay

This is the fifth time at the resort, the main benefits which keep us coming back for more remains the same. Adult pool Good hotel restaurants Overall good staff Good gym We will be back.. again

The first couple of hours were disorganised. To the point of raising a complaint only to have the duty manager raise their voice at me without reason. The director of operations resolved the issues but it should never have got that far. After this initial hiccup, things got back to the normal standard at the St Regis. The room we had seemed to be suffering from an insect issue.

Service was fantastic, teams were proffesional at all times and very friendly.

There was a fair bit of construction around the adult pool that was a little prohibitive in our views to the sea. We ate at the Buddah bar, food was fantastic but we couldnt hear ourselves speak due to the loud DJ music, that was particulary hard for early on in the evening, would have been better if it was a little more chilled vibe.
