Perfect stay in Ubud

The accommodation is perfect, we enjoyed our stay very much. Special thank you for the receptionists Ning, Diana and Ari for making us feel welcome and taken care of. Food was good as well. Housekeeping is doing a good job, very polite people and good standard.

The water in the bathtub was sometimes without warm water, so we had to shower in the cold water.

Maybe the location being far from other areas of Bali,but that was expected since It's in Ubud which is the other side of Bali

gardens are lovely, location OK with interesting fashion/design shops walkable nearby, restaurant enough choices, breakfast buffet ok, staff very obliging, room overlooking pool - nice view; room big enough with balcony, with clothes dryer rack

room didn't quite live up to gardens - needed refreshing [for the price]; bathroom fittings a bit chipped & shabby, likewise upholstery, woodwork a tad dusty, no good bedside reading lights, could do with more electric plugs; pool only from 7 - 7

Excellent stay, wonderful facility and great staff. We couldn't have asked for more.

Staff were amazing, very helpful and always ready to assist. Facility was great and exceptional for the price. We also thoroughly enjoyed the meals served at the hotel, which were better than most of the restaurants in town. We took advantage of the spa where the staff were friendly, facility was clean etc..

If I had to complain about something was that our second room, as our booking was split in half as we went sailing, was not as nice as the first. It felt smaller and a bit older than the first, still great but just in comparison.

The stay was pleasant but maintenence is needed at places.

The room was huge and comfy which was great Thye view from the balcony was great. Staff were nice and polite and very accomodating. The Location was great and very accessible.

the bathroom was a bit run down. water pressure was not good at all. And my there was a bit of mold starting to form on the cieling on top of the bed.

Great place to stay in Ubud! Lovely massages too!

Bliss was amazing! The place was clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The pools were great and relaxing. The spa massages were also really great! We extended our stay here by an extra night as we loved it so much! Great breakfast included, choice of buffet or the restaurant.

Not bad, can improve

Their food variations especially breakfast catered for everyone. Their freshly baked danish and flapjacks remains the best I have tasted ever. The spa (although I never got a chance to visit_which I regret) and the pool area is lovely

The bathroom is too small two people can barely fit in there. There was a very bad smell coming from the shower drain and it never went away. There were a few spider websites in the bedroom and dust in some areas of the room. The lace covering over the bed was dirty I wanted to put it down.

we chose the location because it is nearby the event we are attending, the staff were very friendly, breakfast was simple but good

We booked for 2 rooms, our room's toilet is outdoor with no screen so insects keep coming in, and when it rained the whole bathroom is wet, the other room given was upstairs even if we booked 2 rooms with rice field view, aircondition is also broken in one of the room

A nice stay to help me unwind.

Not too far from the centre of Ubud. Quiet, my villa was away from the main part of the resort and loved having a decent view of paddies.

Beautiful villa in beautiful grounds. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the spa was wonderful.. Great amenities and location

The toilet being open to the full villa was inconvenient for us as we enjoy our privacy! A door would go a VERY long way to improving what was otherwise almost perfect

Peaceful & relaxing

I loved Bliss, from the moment I entered. The atmosphere was peaceful and I felt at ease. With the added pleasure of Des Sak making me always feel welcomed, with her smiling face and willingness to assist always. I will certainly be returning here for any future stays in beautiful Ubud Bali 🙏🏻

Amazing stay, bathrooms a little dated but totally adds to the charm. Would 100% stay again. Perfect distant to Ubud Centre by shuttle bus but also very easy to walk too.

Great place to stay in Ubud with such welcoming staff

Really lovely staff - both the hotel and spa where we had a fabulous couples massage. The breakfast buffet was great and we had dinner there also which was nothing fancy but really nice. The rooms were big and the bed nets were a bonus considering we were surrounded by nature and rice paddies so we slept peacefully.

Not that it was a problem as we were only there one night but it's on a very busy road a little bit away from anything .

Images can be misleading. The rice paddies are not within a farm, they are small rice paddies within the compound. I also found out that a 4 star comment rating is not the same as a 4 star hotel - did not feel like a 4 star stay.

Good stay with some down sides

Great breakfast good location. Super friendly and helpful staff.

The room was spacious and offered a beautiful view of the rice fields, just as described. However, there were a few issues that affected the overall experience. The room was separated from the one next door by only a sliding door with glass panels, covered by curtains for privacy. Unfortunately, this setup provided very little sound insulation, and it was easy to hear conversations and loud TV noise from the neighboring room, even past midnight. But, this seems to not be the same for the other rooms which we saw brick walls. While the main area of the room was large, the bathroom was surprisingly small and oddly designed, with the wardrobes located inside it, which felt quite inconvenient. Another downside was the condition of the wooden structure, there were several visible termite spots, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, the space and view were lovely, but the lack of privacy, poor soundproofing, and maintenance issues made the stay less comfortable than expected.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful environment

Everything was great as expected. Very nice boutique resort. Also fairly close to main street in Ubud but far away enough to relax in nature.

We stayed in Cempaka Villa. Very nice villa. On arrival a bottle of champagne would have been awesome as the setting is quite romantic and intimate. You could factor that in with overall pricing.
