Pension Dr. Geissler

Location, clean, helpful staff

The location is convenient and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I wish they had a fridge in the rooms. I wouldn’t ask for an conditioner despite the heat because it is not part of the culture to have one. But a mini-fridge is a very essential thing to have in rooms. I was limited when it came to buying drinks and what-have-you because I could not cool them

The location was good, close to lots of restaurants and tourist attractions. The breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful and it was very close to a metro a two minute walk.

The room we got said private bath, which it did have but not a private toilet we had to share a toilet with another room which we weren’t expecting. When we got there, the room had a very bad smell, and the windows were open and it took us a bit to figure out how to use the heater as it was very cold in there. The carpet is old and looks gross and dirty , and the shower is awkward and you have to be so careful not to get water everywhere. There is only one elevator and it’s very small and takes a long time if you’re waiting for others as only three people can ride at a time.

Location is really good. Also our room was clean, and receptionists were welcoming.

The hotel looks like old soviet building, the elevator is for one person with two suitcases or two persons without suitcases. There was no kettle or coffee machine or even water in our room.
